It’s been a month now that GOTG Vol. 2 has been in the theatres, the film now has crossed the $800 million mark. Warlock was teased in Thor 2 and since then the fans have eagerly been waiting for him to appear in the MCU but then had no appearance in both parts of Guardians Of The Galaxy movies.

Now that it’s confirmed that Adam Warlock won’t be in the Avengers: Infinity War, it will now be the case that he would debut in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3.

gotgJames Gunn, recently in his Instagram story posted a picture captioned ‘ A little night reading’ in which he seems to be reading Marvel Masterworks Warlock Vol. 1 in which a lot of Adam Warlock is featured. This also tells us that Gunn has already started on with his research for the film if not already writing the script.

Warlock made his debut in 1967’s Fantastic Four #66 and was created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee. Warlock was involved in a two-part storyline addressed massively on the evil scientists attempting to bring him back to life through genetic modifications and cloning in an endeavor to make Adam the perfect human. At that time Warlock was simply referred to as Him! Thinking that he was too perfect for the earth, he left but returned after getting caught in a space trap and after battling Thor. Adam Warlock got his name in 1972’s Marvel Premiere #1. With these many years of wait, now the fans are more eager than ever to witness Warlock on screen, we just hope Gunn gives the fans what they deserve for the wait.
