The Connection Between Logan And X-Men Apocalypse Has Been Confirmed

The X-Men Franchise has surprised fans through the years and also disappointed a few. X-Men Apocalypse was a disappointment to many and there was even a speculation that the franchise was done. The announcement of a new film X-men: Supernova gave proof that the franchise would continue on.
The Connection Between Logan And X-Men Apocalypse Has Been Confirmed

When X-Men Apocalypse was released last year, there was a huge easter egg in the last credit of the film. Essex Corp’s henchmen had taken a vile of Wolverine’s blood, heavily implying that Mister Sinister was going to be involved in Logan. And in a way, he was.

Although Logan never featured Mister Sinister, fans got to see what that little vile of blood created. The young girl Laura aka X-23 was created out of Wolverine’s DNA and had inherited the many traits of Wolverine. But fans were disappointed that Mister Sinister was not seen.

Simon Kinberg, long time producer of The X-men franchise confirmed that the connection that had been speculated on was correct. “Yes, that is the implication,” Kinberg said. The producer also confirmed that Mister Sinister would be featured in future potential movies:

“ The short answer is yes. We would love to see Sinister. I think he is one of the great untapped villains in the X-Men universe, and we do have plans to introduce him into the world.”

Kinberg does not state which movie Sinister would be heading to and from his statement, it looks as though he could have a huge part in X-Men: Supernova. Mister Sinister is the mad scientist who risked everything, in the pursuit of science.

He has been known to experiment on mutants to study the evolution of the species and was responsible for creating characters such as Cable, who will also make his debut in Deadpool 2. With the expansion of the X-Men world, and links such as the one Mister sinister has with Cable, there may be a chance that Deadpool teams up with the X-Men or with his new crew The X-Force down the line. Or Mister Sinister could become a villain to the X-Force in their debut movie.
