5. The Elephant Man
Life of a mutilated man who is trying to establish his place in the society is indeed hard, but David Lynch has beautifully portrayed a story of a man who went through the same struggle. It is based on Joseph Merrick who was suffering from austere distortion. The make-up is definitely appreciable as it made him look like the one with deformity. Performance is commendable and the subject is so moving that it will simply make you fall for it.
6. Gandhi
Last (but not the least) on this list is Gandhi. This work of Richard Attenborough is loved and appreciated by many. This one is a collabrative effort from both Hollywood and Bollywood. All have read and heard what Gandhi did and it was beautifully portrayed in the movie as well.
