Created by Todd McFarlane, Venom first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #252 in 1984. Venom turns to be one of the most persistent adversaries of web-slinging superhero, Spider-Man. So far it is one of the most popular comic book characters of Marvel. Spider-Man is not the only character who was encapsulated by the alien symbiote. So today, we bring you five characters who have worn the symbiotic suit.
1) Flash Thompson
After the detention of Mac Gargan, The U.S government was looking for a trustworthy person to possess the Venom symbiote for a positive purpose. And then here comes Flash Thomson. He is one of the friends of Peter Parker. He was a soldier whose legs were amputated in a battle leaving him with no ability, but killing skills. After wearing the symbiote suit, his legs were replaced giving more stronger symbiote powers.
2. Eddie Brock
First appearing in The Amazing Spider-Man #299 in 1988, Eddie Brock was a journalist who was left by his wife and father. He hated Spider-Man. Once then was about to temp suicide Brock went to the same church from where Petter Parker got rid off from the evil symbiote. The alien symbiote then minded with Brock which caused more hatred for Spider-Man. He then tried to kill Spider-Man on various occasions. He made himself more of an anti-hero.
3. Deadpool
The Merc With The Mouth has held Thor’s hammer Mjolnir and donned Iron Man’s suit. With all of that do you think Symbiote was a big deal? Not at all. Even before Spider-Man donned the black symbiote suit, Deadpool had already tried the outfit. As per the mercenary, in the Secret War series, where Spider-Man dons the symbiote suit. To prevent the sight of bounty hunters, Symbiote suit crawled back to the mercenary and then it bonded with him.
4. Doctor Octavius
When Doctor Otto Octavius exchanged the minds with Peter Parker, Flash Thompson was the first symbiote host to whom Octavius promised to give him robots legs through surgery. But instead of that, the wicked Octavius removes the symbiote from Thompson’s body and then dons the symbiote suit, which gives him Spider Man’s superpower.
5. Guardians Of The Galaxy
While moving around with Guardians of The Galaxy, Flash Thomson was doubtful of the strange response by the symbiote suit. He eventually lost control and started to threaten other members. After that, Guardian though d discarding the symbiote into space. Unluckily, the suit gets attached to Groot. Rocket Raccoon comes in the scene and separates the symbiote from him. But then it gets attached to Drax. Now, Drax defeats all the Guardians and takes the ship to the planet of home.
