The comic book legend Stan Lee has become the novelty for every superhero movie. The former Marvel Comics chairman has been in every other Marvel movie since the 2000’s so he is one of the perk cameos that loyal Marvel fans have come to expect to see. At 93 years old, you’d expect Lee to slow things down and smell the roses. But it seems like the man still has the energy to do more work (like his upcoming Monkey movie) and shoot more cameos.
In fact, Lee has supposedly shot four cameos back to back in one day for four films! The superhero creator of Spider-Man and Iron Man seems to be emulating his own creations with his life as there is no stopping the energetic man. During a recent fan, Q&A held after Captain America:Civil War screening, Marvel head Kevin Feige was asked by an audience member. Feige was questioned if Lee’s roles were predetermined or spur-of-the-moment during production, to which, he answered:
“We do not shoot random ones. They’re always very specific,… A couple of months ago in Atlanta, he flew down and we shot four in one day — for four various projects. They’re all awesome! They’re all totally different. And he was unbelievable. He was on fire. He came in, he sat here, he stood there, he stood in this window, and then he went home.”
