This kind of introduction gives us a quick tour of the character, starting with the morning routine. The sequence of shots brings anticipation and suspense until we meet the hero. The introduction by parts is what makes us think only of the character for a moment like wearing a tie, donning a suit and other day-to-day routines. For example – Indiana Jones, which starred Harrison Ford.
Surprising introduction
Unlike of the routine introduction, sometimes characters appear abruptly in the narration in more surprising ways and suddenly grab our attention with their outfit and the expression they present just fascinate us like Judy Rodh in The Fifth Element, Strangelove from Dr. Strangelove and The Joker from The Dark Knight.
