Tom Felton Joins the Cast of The Flash Season 3

The Flash Season 2 was extremely satisfying as it brought a sense of closure on the Zoom’s storyline and created another universe-altering event which has set the foundation for the next season i.e the Flash going back in time and actually saving his mother from Reverse Flash, and in the process changing the timeline. It was nothing short of spectacular as it delivered a big payoff to the fans in the end.

But the kind of excitement already being generated by season 3 is unprecedented. Grant Gustin revealed the name of the first episode on his twitter handle – “Flashpoint” basically confirming the popular comic-book storyline created by Geoff Johns on the TV show.  Earlier, Carlos Valdes said on the possibility of Flashpoint “The show is going to honor the original chronology and the original lore while at the same time providing a new spin on it.”

Now, the show-makers have added Tom Felton a.k.a Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter into the ensemble cast of season 3. Tom Felton appeared in all eight movies of Harry Potter franchise and had an important role in TNT’s Murder in the First. His co-star Emma Watson once revealed in an interview that she had a secret crush on him when they were shooting for the movie, but he wasn’t interested.

According to TVLine, he will be playing Julian Dorn who is a Central City Police Department crime scene investigator who doesn’t trust the high regard in which everyone holds Barry Allen. He will debut in the first few episodes itself and he will be a series regular. He will have ample amount of time to demystify the secret behind Barry Allen’s true identity. Can he figure it out?

The Flash cast is hitting San Diego Comic-Con this month. Will he make an appearance there? The season 3 will premiere on the CW network, Oct 4, 8 p.m.
