In a world where no one respects one another even if you earn it well, there must be a way to retain your self-respect for once you lose respect for yourself, you would never be able to gain your respect back.
1. Don’t Let Others Tell You What To Do.
Remember that the one single person in this entire world who can tell you what’s best for you in the best way is none other than your own heart. Understand and remember that no one else will ever be able to guide better and you shall never listen to what others have to say. Whatever your heart says is right, will always be right for you. It isn’t necessary that what’s right for you is right for everyone else.
2. Talk To Yourself Once A Day.
You must close yourself up in a room once a day or take a walk out in the open so that you are able to understand yourselves better. Being alone for a while is extremely important for that is how you will know the real person you are without which nobody else can ever understand you. It is important for you to spend some time with your own self.
3. Don’t Lose Hope.
This world lives on hope and one shall never lose hope for anything. We shall always believe that one day or the other, things will fall back into place and losing hope and faith in ourselves is not a solution. Instead, we must instill even a greater amount of hope in ourselves and remember that we are the ones who are the sole solution to all our problems. Losing respect for yourself is never going to help you.
4. Get Yourself A Job.
When you have a job, even if it’s a part-time job, you know your own worth and start loving yourself even more. You know what you are capable of and thus you start respecting yourself even more.
5. Earn Your Own Livelihood.
Earn whatever you want, don’t ask for it anymore. That way, you are bound to respect yourself more for when you don’t need to spread your hands in front of anyone for anything you want, life already gets better.
Shubhrika is an emotional person and portrays that in her words. She is a coffee lover and hence an intrigued writer.
She loves to play with words and twist them as much as she can, that is her way of writing. But mostly, she loves creating suspense in her writing. She would never let the real story come out until the last part of her writings.
Writing is her life and her heartbeat.
