Plain tees can be turned into a completely different t-shirts by using spray paint on them. You need not have perfect art skills to do so. You just need to apply stationery tape on the areas where you do not need the paint and spray the color all over. Another method is you outline a quote or random text in bold on a t-shirt using a ruler and scale and fill it up using a paint brush and fabric paint later. So search your wardrobe and show your talent.

Stones and gems:

You can stich some stones on the neckline or cuffs of the t-shirt to give it a new dimension. Artificial light-weight stones and gems come with holes on both the sides, which can be easily used for stitching purpose.  If you are a lazy person, instead of stitching them, you can just paste them using fabric glue.  Stones and gems are available in various unique colors and shapes.

Turn your clothes into completely different piece:

By doing little cuts and trims and some sew and stitch you can turn your old shirt into a vest. For doing so, you need to cut it’s sleeves and do some folding and sew. Likewise, you can turn your t-shirt into a skirt, or a pair of jeans into shorts and capris. Also you can use a not-so-used dupatta for a scarf, or a scarf for a headband. You can use an old saree as handbags  instead of those plastic polybags.  So go green and follow recycle and reuse.

Adding patches of clothes :

You can add patches of net on the backside of your denim shorts to make them look cooler than ever before, or you can add oval patches of a glitter cloth on the backside of a pullover to give it a sexy look. You can also add a patch of completely different cloth in the shape of a pocket on a plain tee to add some versatility. You can also add laces on the bottom of your shorts or piece of net on your denims as they are really in.
