Mid-Credit Scene In Doctor Strange

Thor visits Doctor Strange in his Sanctum Sanctorum. Thor says “So Earth has wizards now?”  The Doctor offers Thor some tea, which he transforms into an automatic refilling glass of beer.

“I keep a watch list of individuals and beings from other realms that may be a threat to this world. Your adopted brother Loki is one of those beings. So, why to bring him here to New York?”

Thor responds that “it’s a bit of a long story. Family drama. We’re looking for my father.”

Strange then asks if the Asgardians would leave earth to return back to their home if Odin is found. To which Thor replies “Oh yes. Promptly” Then the Doctor offers to help.

Odin has been missing since we last saw him in Thor: The Dark World which was also Loki’s doing. The comics have often depicted Asgardians being exiled to Earth with no memory of their past life. How would this plot point fit into the Thor/Hulk dynamic is still a mystery.
