Fast & Furious Franchise Released New Fast X Trailer

Get ready, Fast and Furious fans! Universal Pictures has released a brand new Fast X trailer. This second official trailer offers even more action-packed footage of the latest installment in the popular franchise, giving fans a sneak peek at what they can expect. And it looks like the new film is going to be one wild ride! The trailer features Vin Diesel reprising his role as the iconic Dominic Toretto, along with familiar faces such as Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, Tyrese Gibson as Roman, and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges as Tej.

But Fast X also brings some new stars into the mix, including Oscar winner Brie Larson as Tess, a rogue representative from the Agency, and Alan Richtson as Aimes, the new head of the Agency who doesn’t hold the same fondness for Dom’s crew as his predecessor, Mr. Nobody. Fast X takes the Fast and Furious family on a wild adventure to various locations, including a thrilling trip to the Vatican. But it’s not all sightseeing and fun; the trailer also showcases some epic action scenes, with Brie Larson and Jason Statham kicking a lot of asses.

And of course, the trailer teases even more of the highly anticipated big fight scene between Michelle Rodriguez and Charlize Theron, which Rodriguez revealed was shot without a director. Directed by Louis Leterrier, Fast X also features Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey, Jordana Brewster as Mia, Sung Kang as Han, Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw, John Cena as Jakob Toretto, Scott Eastwood as Eric Reisner, and Oscar winner Helen Mirren as “Queenie” Shaw, and Oscar winner Charlize Theron as Cipher.

It was recently confirmed that Leterrier will return to helm the eleventh and final film in the series as well. Initially, it was announced that the tenth movie in the Fast and Furious franchise would be it’s last. However, those plans changed when the ideas for the concluding chapter became too big for just one film. Based on how the cast is already talking about Fast X, it seems like the potential for something like Avengers: Infinity War’s ending leading into Avengers: Endgame could be what’s in the cards.

In a previous interview with Collider, Michelle Rodriguez offered a bombshell about the Fast X ending, teasing that it will leave audiences surprised and with open mouths:

“I’ve gotta say, you know, I think people are gonna be really, really surprised and we’re gonna get a lot of open mouths at the end of Fast X. Let’s just put it that way. It’s gonna be like, ‘Really? What?’ Like that! Like that’s how I was in theater. I was like, ‘Oh my god. What have we done?'”

Universal Pictures has spared no expense for Fast X, with a reported budget of over $200 million. And with a star-studded cast, explosive action scenes, and a surprise ending, it’s easy to see why. Fast X also brings in a diverse cast, including Daniela Melchior as a Brazilian street racer with a powerful tie to Dom’s past and legendary Oscar winner Rita Moreno as Dom and Mia’s Abuelita Toretto. Fast X is set to hit theaters on May 19, so buckle up and get ready for one hell of a ride!
