We just got the massive roadmap to MCU’s Phase 6, but several projects are still left to be revealed at the D23 Expo. We’ve reported that Marvel left out Deadpool 3, but they may have left it out of Phase 5’s releases because a February 2024 release remains vacant. But apart from that, eight others projects are yet to be revealed, and most of them will lead us into Secret Wars. Patton Oswalt also stated that an Eternals 2 is headed our way. But what about Moon Knight? Will Moon Knight season 2 happen on Disney+? Well, here’s your answer:

Moon Knight ended with the revelation of Jake Lockley! Everyone was looking forward to an announcement of season 2 with that tease, but it never came. This tease from Oscar Isaac and Mohammed Diab could mean we’re getting a second season in Phase 5 or 6. Here, look at phase 5 and Phase 6 schedules:
From summer 2024 onwards, no other Disney+ series has been confirmed. One of the earliest slots should be given to Armor Wars. But another one of those could go to Moon Knight season 2. Moon Knight has a long history with Kang in the comics. So we reckon that season 2 could set up Moon Knight’s battle against the Conqueror in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
Since Isaac and Diab are currently in Cairo for Moon Knight, we believe that development for the next season could have begun already. And we should definitely expect an official announcement at the D23 expo. If the show is being developed right now, then it is highly likely that we could get it in the second half of 2024. Or, if they want to take their time, it could arrive in Early 2025. But 2024 is more likely.
Moon Knight season 2 could also include the first union of the Midnight sons because by that time, Blade will be into the mix and Black Knight would have got his suit.
