Thor: Love and Thunder ended on a high note for our very own Thor Odinson. You could argue that its ending was really the best part of the entire movie. Now Thor is on a new journey with his newfound daughter, Love. But where and when will he return? The MCU has a lot of upcoming projects where Thor could return. And here are 10 of those series and movies where Thor could return:
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Thor and the Guardians got separated very quickly. Vol. 3 is supposed to be a movie totally focused on the Guardians, but maybe Thor and the leftover Guardians could form a new cosmic team by the end.
Chances: Very low
The Marvels
We need to see a Captain Marvel and Thor team up in live action. The Marvels is already too full. But maybe Thor could cameo at the end to tease that team up.
Chances: Very low
Loki Season 2
Loki season 1 only gave us Throg. But season 2 should be much bigger. So maybe Chris Hemsworth could be added in for a cameo. It’d be lovely to see some other Thor variant in action.
Chances: Quite Likely
Deadpool 3
Chris Hemsworth was pretty interested in teaming up with Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool. So, a team up between these two funny badasses would be legendary. But still…
Chances: Very low
Thor 5
Love and Thunder ended with two major setups. Number 1 – The journey of Thor and Love. Number 2 – Hercules vs. Thor. So, a Thor 5 would indeed happen. But whether it happens before the next two Avengers movies remains to be seen.
Chances: Definitely
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars
Even though Love and Thunder didn’t do as well as Marvel would have expected it to, Thor is still an MCU mainstay and a major powerhouse. So, he’d definitely return in The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.

What If…? Season 2
Party Thor was a big part of What If…? season 1. So we could see him return in season 2 as well. Or, another variant of Thunder could be arriving this time around.

Marvel Zombies
We didn’t get a Zombie Thor in What If…? season 1. Now that Marvel is doing a whole show based on them, a Z-Thor should be in the show for sure.
Chances: Highly Likely
World War Hulk
She-Hulk is clearly setting up the arrival of Hulk’s son Skar and a World War Hulk storyline. So, Hulk might go back to Sakaar. But will Thor return to that planet? He may or may not go there to help his friend.
Chances: Low
Eternals 2
An Eternals sequel had been set up by its ending. So, it will happen sooner or later. The prospect of the Eternals teaming up with Thor is amazing. And since the first film didn’t do as well, maybe Thor could be added to boost its chances. But Marvel will need to find a really strong reason to put Thor and Love in there because they’ll be coming as a package deal now.
