While movies end up taking us to places we can never imagine, often life ends up imitating art. This can be compared with the case of various artists who have been associated with cases that fans could never believe. It’s surprising to see some of our favorite stars being involved in disputes that end up landing them in jail. But this has become something quite usual for the stars and we have become somewhat useful with the idea of the darker side of the lives of these celebrities. Ezra Miller is one such actor who hasn’t been away from controversies over the years for long because of his behavior. According to reports, The Flash star Ezra Miller has been arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and harassment.
The 27-year-old actor has been a part of the industry for quite a long time now, appearing in a variety of projects. Their breakout role was Kevin from Lynne Ramsey’s dark piece of cinema We Need To Talk About Kevin. The movie explores a mother, played by Tilda Swinton, coming to terms with the violent actions of her son. Even though the movie didn’t attract much of a mainstream audience the actor would continue to shine in their later roles with a supporting role in The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
But then they would end up getting much more popularity by taking on the live-action interpretation of the popular comic book speedster Flash in the DC Extended Universe. The actor had a cameo in the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice which was enough to create hype for the character. Later they would have a major role to play in the follow-up movie Justice League. The actor had a significant role in both the cuts of the movie and a rather major show of the character’s power in the Zack Snyder Cut. Now the actor will be soon be seen in a solo Flash movie.
Ezra Miller Arrested For Harassment
According to reports, Justice League star Ezra Miller was arrested a short while after midnight by the Hawaiian County Police in a Hawaiian karaoke bar in Hilo. The reports have indicated the charges for this arrest include disorderly conduct and harassment. The actor had yelled obscenities and was reported to be quite agitated and aggressive at the venue. Following this, it seems that the actor managed to grab a microphone from a woman who was singing at the bar and then threw themselves at a man playing darts. Reports suggest that the bar owner attempted to calm Miller down several times, but Miller remained in an agitated state. They were later released on a $500 bail after being charged for both offenses.
This is not the first time that the actor made it into the news for their behavior offscreen. According to Variety, they were involved in an altercation that took place on April 1, 2020, at 6 pm at Prikið Kaffihús, a bar in Reykjavik, Iceland. An eyewitness had revealed that it all started when the actor was confronted by some over-eager fans, which included the woman in the video. Miller started to lose his temper, particularly at the said lady and the next thing they knew, the incident had already broken out. The actor, who was upset with what happened, was then escorted off the premises of the bar, which he typically visits when he’s in town.
A lot more details regarding this arrest will be coming out in the upcoming days. But the actor’s involvement in such a scenario surely affects his fans and this could also make an impact on the success of his movie. The actor will be seen appearing as Flash in the upcoming solo venture The Flash. It was initially set to come out this year but got postponed to a later date of June 2, 2023.
