The Marvel Cinematic Universe is ready to take things to a whole new level this year with each new project set to continue on the solo journeys of our heroes. With a load of theories surrounding this project, fans are excited to see where the narrative will be taken this time around. There are some very exciting appearances rumored to happen in this movie and the latest trailer actually hints a lot of this. The full-length Super Bowl trailer of Doctor Strange 2 is out after the Big Game brought us an amazing TV-Spot. It has Professor X, and more.

Multiverse of Madness

We got to see the very first effects of the Multiverse in Spider-Man: No Way Home when characters from across the multiverse started appearing in the MCU. But fans got one of their most exciting moment in the movie when the three generations of Spider-Men teamed up to put down the enemies. But that was just the beginning considering a lot of new things are set to happen in the next few projects from the franchise. We will get to see Doctor Strange come across a variety of new events along with some other characters. A lot of new characters will also be making their debut in the MCU with this project.

Super Bowl Trailer of Doctor Strange 2

A new trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was revealed during the Super Bowl LVI and it is everything fans might have expected to see. This trailer features a lot of things that might be confirming the variety of theories about the movie. The description for the trailer says:

In Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.

New Details

The first and most exciting revelation made in the trailer is that Patrick Stewart will be appearing in the movie. It was long rumored that a character from the 20th Century Fox movies will be making their appearance in the movie. And the trailer actually reveals this with something that might be the Illuminati for the MCU. We see Strange being summoned in front of the Illuminati by an army of Ultron bots. Then we can clearly hear the voice of Patrick Stewart uttering the words, “We should tell him the truth.

Fans were wondering about the appearance of multiple Doctor Strange from across the Multiverse and the movie will also see another Wanda appear. A particular moment from the trailer shows us an injured Wanda looking at herself broken down sitting in the Westview house that we last saw in WandaVision. This Wanda might be the one that goes against Strange in the movie.

One of the scenes in the movie actually sees her talking to Strange and that clearly shows that she won’t be the hero we might have expected her to be. There are clear hints that it would bring her past trauma into play with the character going back to explore these events.

We also get to see a lot more of America Chavez in action as she participates in the battles. She will probably be the biggest help that Doctor Strange might have considering he might be facing a lot of enemies.  There will be clear moments where she might give him a lot of insight into how this multiversal chaos is going to unfold. We will also get to see them travel in time as the characters could be seen going through the Jurassic age during one particular moment from the trailer.

There will be a lot of interesting things that we will get to see about the multiverse considering Strange’s variants might have a big hand in the Illuminati. We also get a much clearer look at Defender Strange as his costume. This clarifies that we will get to see more than two or three variants of Doctor Strange. But another variant ends up making an appearance around the end of the trailer.

Remember the episode from the Disney+ animated series What If…? that has most of the Avengers turning into zombies. One of the most surprising moments from the trailer shows the zombie Doctor Strange appearing. It clearly adds to the fact that this movie will actually work into the movie some of the events from What If…?.

Another interesting moment from the trailer shows Wanda going against a mysterious character. This character appears to be a lot like Captain Marvel but considering it appears to be a male character it could be one of her variants. At the same time, the character design might hint that this could be the rumored appearance from Tom Cruise in the MCU as the Iron Man variant. This is surely going to be one of the most talked-about appearances in the trailer with fans wondering who it might end up being.
