7 New Doctor Strange 2 Posters Feature Scarlet Witch, Rintrah and America Chavez
The next big addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is going to be Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of madness. With some elements of the multiverse already at play in Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans will see worse consequences. Things are going to be so bad that Strange would require the help of Wanda and he will also be helped by otherworldly renditions of him. There are a lot of rumors surrounding the idea that we are going to guess alternate renditions of some of the other heroes appearing in the movie. New Doctor Strange 2 posters reveal designs of the titular character, his variants, Scarlet Witch, Rinstrah, America Chavez, and more.
Multiverse of Madness
Spider-Man: No Way Home gave us a proper introduction to the essential things associated with the multiverse. The Marvel Cinematic Universe had been working on the concept for quite a long time now. No Way Home practically ended up stopping the entire teasing period and working on the true implications of alternate realities. This allowed us to witness multiple renditions of Spider-Men come together to fight the villains. The end-credits sequence for the movie was the teaser trailer for Multiverse of Madness itself. Fans got to witness a taste of what’s going to happen in the movie. But the trailer gave us a clear idea of the things that were gonna happen in the movie.
The most exciting details fans got from the movie have the include the fact that there was more than one Doctor Strange. This clip also included two other renditions of Strange, where one was fairly obvious, the other was teased for just a few seconds. Another interesting addition was the character of Rintrah making an appearance when the Sorcerers were all fighting against a common enemy. It also gave us our very first look at the character of America Chavez and also showed Strane going to Wanda by himself. But the new posters for the movie actually give us a much better look at all these things from the movie.
Doctor Strange 2 Posters
Some new posters for Doctor Strange 2 have made their way online. Each of these shows some of the new characters in the movie in a lot more detail than we could have expected. These posters appeared on Redwolf, an online store that is focused on licensed pop-culture apparel and other accessories. One of the posters features all the heroes appearing in the movie grouping together. The design looks absolutely similar to the cover of a comic book. It also sees America Chavez with a proper look at her as the heroes are in a strange-looking dimension.
A character poster for the movie could be seen featuring the character of Rintrah. This big, green minotaur was briefly seen in the trailer as he was staggered by an explosion.
One of the coolest-looking posters from the movie features Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Mordo who was seen in the trailer too. The character has a different appearance compared to the last time we saw him in Doctor Strange. This poster actually designates him as “Master Mordo” which could mean that he is actually a variant of the Mordo we have seen. Master Mordo could actually be the Sorcerer Supreme of his own reality.
Even Wanda Maximoff gets her own poster that see her in a new attire yet again. But here one can notice that her cloak is a lot shorter compared to the other promotional material.
The most exciting poster features the two variants of Doctor Strange next to the MCU version of the character. This marks the first time there has been some confirmation of the third Strange who was hardly given any indication in the trailer.
There are multiple posters featuring the three different Doctor Strange’s together. This could mean that the evil Variant of Doctor Strange and the “Defender” Strange will have some major role to play in the movie.
While there is yet no confirmation if Evil Strange will actually be the villain or not, these variants might show two sides of the Strange we have been accustomed to. There are major rumors indicating that Wanda will be the villain inf the movie. So, these variants might help in order to let Strange know how he should stop Wanda from causing the multiversal chaos she is gonna cause. This will give us some great insight into how Strange might end up being in multiple scenarios for the character itself.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released in theaters worldwide on May 6.
