This New Character Of Doctor Strange 2 Can Set Up The Debut Of Beta Ray Bill

With its teaser already out, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the next BIG thing in the MCU. The movie will be introducing many new characters in the MCU mix while bringing back some of our favorite characters. However, what caught our attention today is the new character of Doctor Strange 2, Rintrah. Many fans are relentlessly waiting for more news about the character, and it is not because of him but the character he might be setting up. These fans believe that the minotaur-like appearance of Rintrah might finally pave the way for the long-awaited character of Beta Ray Bill.

By the looks of the teaser, it seems like the movie will be featuring many extraterrestrial monsters and demon-like characters. And Rintrah is just one among the many, including Shuma Gorath, Throats and many more. However, ever since the teasing of Ray Bill back in 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok, fans have been eagerly waiting for him.

In the comics, Beta Ray Bill debuted in 1983’s issue of Thor. He was one of the few comic book characters who could wield the all-powerful Mjolnir. However, he lost this power when he handed over the hammer to Thor. In return, Odin ordered the casting of another Uru hammer, called the Stormbreaker, especially for Ray Bill. Since his strength came from the Asgardian Gods, he vowed to serve Asgard until his last breath. The comics have featured him fighting alongside The Mighty Thor, time after time.

Ever since the first MCU movie, Iron Man, the MCU developers have used CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery) for scenes that were too hard to shoot in live-action. There even came a point when MCU fans called out to them for using way too much CGI. But with Phase 4 introducing the threats of the multiverse, the monsters, creatures, and extraterrestrial races of aliens, CGI is inevitable.

Thor Love And Thunder Introduce Beta Ray Bill

Beta Ray Bill is a Korbinite who is an equine humanoid species. They look more or less like Minotaurs from Greek mythology. And with Rintrah just around the corner who, too, looks like a Minotaur, maybe the technology to CG Beta Ray Bill is not that far.

If past is any indication, the MCU editors have successfully created a 10-foot tall purple alien with a big-ass chin. In addition to Thanos, costumes like the Iron Man suit and the Spider-Man onesie were often CGI-ed to make it more believable and real. However, fans did not like the result every time. So, if MCU editors could pull of Rintrah, it will only be a matter of time until Ray Bill makes his live-action debut.
