No Way Home Rotten Tomatoes Score and First Reactions are the Best for Any Marvel Movie
Finally No Way Home is at our doorstep. The movie has landed with a bang and the closed screenings have blown the critics away. As evidenced by No Way Home‘s Rotten Tomatoes score of 100% after the initial screenings. Interestingly only Endgame has ever had such high ratings in the MCU. We are excited to see what the film has in store for us, but for now, let us look at the critic reviews and reactions from the screenings. It seems that Marvel has delivered on its promise of fan service.
A lot of the critics have rated the movie to be a perfect masterpiece which is great news for Tom Holland and Marvel. At the time of this post, the movie has been reviewed by 47 critics and all of them have been forced to give it their highest recommendation because it lacks any visible flaws other than being too good. For reference, the movie with the highest overall Rotten Tomatoes score is Black Panther which stands at 96%.
Most of this movie, however, is inspiring a full 100% recommendation. For instance, take a look at this review by A.A. Dowd from the AV Club, “No Way Home’s extended exercise in franchise-agnostic fan service is at once an ominous precedent for future event movies and an at-times rather poignant gimmick.” The movie may be aiming to please all the fans but it does not fall short of delivering the message with impact.

Moreover, this story is inspiring a lot of critiques but none of it is bad enough to bring down the movie’s score. Brian Lorry from CNN.com writes, “Briskly balancing a dizzying assortment of parts, Marvel’s latest (by way of Sony) looks destined to do what only a spider can — namely, lure vast numbers of fans into its web.” This signifies that the story has a wide appeal. It will be loved by both comic fans and casual moviegoers.
The amazing director John Watts has pulled a magic bunny out of his hat with the finale to Tom Holland’s Spider-Man trilogy. Peter Debrudge from Variety writes, “Returning director Jon Watts… wrangles the unwieldy premise into a consistently entertaining superhero entry, tying up two decades’ of loose ends in the process.” Although we are not delving into spoilers today, this review could indicate that the long-anticipated rumor might be true.
Moreover, the entire critic community is absolutely taken aback by the level of skill that is shown by the cast. Not only that but the cast has been praised greatly for their performances. Starting from Tom Holland himself, all the members brought their A-game to this film. It is an exciting time for Marvel, with No Way Home wrapping up Spider-Man much like Endgame wrapped up the Avengers. Take a look at some of the fan reactions after the movie.
No Way Home First Reactions
Spider-Man: No Way Home is probably the best time I've had in a theater since Endgame. Tom Holland just owns the thing and even though it's absolutely insane at times, it's SUCH a #Spidey movie. https://t.co/a34M6yFFdM

Unlimited Possibilities
Spider-Man: No Way Home feels a movie version of a big comic book event miniseries (ala Batman Hush). It was more emotional than I was expecting, justifies the ending I didn’t like from Far From Home, and sends the franchise in an exciting direction. pic.twitter.com/8OQCCGYDmw

Best Spider-Man Movie
#SpiderManNoWayHome makes you feel every feeling you could possibly feel.
It is 2.5 hours of nonstop emotion, action, quips, and heart. Everything you want from a Peter Parker story.
It has never been a better time to be a Spider-Man fan. @MCU_Direct

Epic
#SpiderManNoWayHome is epic. Really impressed how much it delivers. One might even say it overdelivers. Funny, frenetic, ultimately really emotional. Can’t imagine many/ any Spidey fans will be disappointed.

Emotional End
I can confidently say #SpiderManNoWayHome is THE BEST live-action Spider-Man movie. A thrilling & emotional end to the “Homecoming” trilogy, but also a smart, fun & exciting tribute to 20 years of Spider-Man movies. Both hilarious & heartbreaking, I honestly loved every second. pic.twitter.com/8xpqbTNgfz

The Consensus
After looking at the reaction and reviews, we feel that the movie will be a great addition to the MCU roster. This means that everything we were hyped for may be realized in all of its glory. Perhaps the overall sentiment of the critics will be carried over to the audience when the movie comes out on Thursday. We shall see how things transpire when it is available to the general public and when the review embargo is lifted for all. Without going into spoilers we believe that this will be the best Spider-Man movie to ever grace the silver screen.
We cannot wait for our chance to view this movie in all of its glory. Maybe we will get to see the three spiders unite against a new villain. We have been promised that the two decades’ worth of loopholes will be resolved with the movie. Let us hope that this is true. Who will be the main villain? Will a Spider-Man die in the movie, or will some other main character meet their end at the hands of the villain. We will only know when the general public sees it.
Let us know if you share the reactions of the fans and if you are one of the lucky ones who have seen the movie in the comments below. Until we all see it, keep watching this space for everything Marvel, DC, and Marvel.
