New Doctor Strange 2 Lego Leak

Information regarding the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Lego set was leaked on the Lego Building Instructions app. The leak indicated that we might get to witness a fight with the sea monster Gargantos in the upcoming film. Amongst the leak, the description said:

Gargantos, the giant, one-eyed monster, spots Doctor Strange, Wong, and America Chavez and wriggles towards the 3 heroes. Will the team’s special powers and weapons be enough to defeat the monster or will they be tangled up in tentacles? Only you can decide.

Gargantos

Who Is Gargantos in 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness'?

The new evidence based on the details leaked about the movie seems to confirm that Doctor Strange 2 will be introducing the underwater world into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Initially, this was thought to be Shuma Gorath based around the arc of America Chavez but it seems we will be getting to see the very special squid from the underwater world of Marvel characters.

Gargantos is a monstrous creature owned by the Nagas, who had once unleashed it on Namor when the latter defeated the Lemurian warriors. The monster dies in the very hands of his master when Namor blinds it and it ends up attacking King Naga and the Lemurian citizens. Another notable appearance by the character also shows the ruthless sea monster fighting against the sub-mariner once again. Fans had been theorizing the Gargantos might be appearing in the movie ever since the 24-year-old Colombian actress Yenifer Molina included the role in her digital resume on her agency’s website.

This might mean that finally, we will get to see the character of Namor making an appearance in the MCU if this arc is continued in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. There has been a long wait for the character ever since Marvel placed an Easter egg for him in one of the past projects. The set-piece looks like they are battling on the side of a building and this might mean we will get to see the character fighting across the various universes. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released in theatres worldwide on 6 May 2022.
