New BTS Photos From Black Adam Reveal The Best Look At Dwayne Johnson’s Suit

Black Adam is surely going to be one of the most exciting projects that we can expect from the DC Extended Universe of characters. There has been a lot of hype surrounding the character and this has gone to have an impact on the making of the project too. One of the biggest things in dealing with this has to be the fact that Dwayne Johnson has been highly enthusiastic about the project. It has been a long time since the star was associated with the project and now its come to fruition. Fans have been waiting to see the star in the role of the hero but there have been only a few glances here and there. New BTS photos from Black Adam give us some of the best looks at Dwayne Johnson’s character in his suit.

Black Adam

We recently got our first look at the film during the DC FanDome event, where a particular scene from the movie was revealed. It gave us some insight into the powers of the character and this is definitely one of the most exciting bits about the project. The movie will not only feature the titular Black Adam but also some members of the Justice Society of America. This would include characters who have not been brought into the live-action yet and it is only more exciting considering we have not been able to glance at them yet. Johnson has stated multiple times that Black Adam would topple the other DCEU movies in terms of hierarchy.

GamesRadar+ shared some BTS photos from Black Adam that were taken for the movie’s recent feature in Total Film magazine. These photos include some rather exciting looks at Johnson’s character and this only increases the interest in the movie. But amongst all the other details the stills actually give us a look at Dwayne Johnson donning the best rendition of the costume yet. This does include one of the costumes where he has a hood, which was also a part of his appearance in the first look for the movie.

Most of these scenes are possibly from the same moment that was released as the first look clip for the movie. This moment was when Black Adam was freed in modern times by mistake and he wreaks havoc when armed troops start attacking him. The actor is taking the character quite seriously and this is clear from the very way the actor is looking even when the shooting is not going on.

In an interview with Total Film, the actor revealed:

Official offers never happened. It was always conversations with studio heads. But there was always something unique, different about Black Adam. He was a villain, an antihero, depending on your interpretation of what a villain is. I loved this idea that his pain and rage comes from loss, and was fuelled by oppression. And at some point, he refused to be held down any more. If you wrong him, his family, or his people, then you will die. Period. That is just that simple.

One of the major reasons behind the hype surrounding the movie has to be the fact that the actor is very much focused on making waves in the DCEU. While talking about working with Collet-Serrq again after Jungle Cruise, the actor said:

Right from the beginning, we gelled, because it was like: ‘OK, our goal and our North Star is the hierarchy of power in the DC Universe is about to change.’ Let’s have guts. Let’s get after it. And let’s be destructive.

While we have gotten a clip from the movie, we can’t stop wondering when will we get the first trailer for the movie. The trailer might give us a chance to get a look at the world around the movie and the other characters who are gonna be a part of the movie in a major way. Actors playing the Justice Society of America include Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Quintessa Swindell, and Pierce Brosnan. Considering the plot details that have been kept under wraps we will have a much better idea about the movie with a proper trailer. The movie was supposed to release this month but the coronavirus impacted this release and it had to be moved to July 29, 2022. Let’s hope this date remains considering it will be seven more months to go before we get to see Black Adam.
