Hawkeye Still Has Not Answered The Biggest Question About Ronin

The third episode of Disney+’s Hawkeye is out, and by far, it kicks ass. The two-episode premiere might have disappointed fans, but the third entry made them reconsider their decision. However, as the series progresses, fans are getting restless for the answer to the biggest question about Ronin. Keep up with us to find more about the question and its relevance.

Disney+’s Hawkeye is the first solo-outing of the OG Avenger, Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye. The series sees him struggling to put his past behind him, for good and make it to his family in time. His past finally caught up to him when Kate Bishop(Hailee Steinfeld) puts on his Ronin costume and fights off the Tracksuit Mafia. Now, Barton has taken it upon himself to get the kid out of their radar. But by far, the series fails to answer one of the most important questions fans have about the character.

HAWKEYE FAILS TO ANSWER THE BIGGEST QUESTION ABOUT RONIN!

After the events of Avengers: Infinity War, Barton lost all his children and his wife from Thanos’ snap. After such a tragedy, he could have worked with the other Avengers to help those in need. Instead, he chose to go on a rampage. He wore a mask, changed his name, went from continent to continent, and rooted out every gangster, mafia, and crime lord, he could get his hands on. He single-handedly cleansed the planet from crime. And when the audience saw him as Ronin, all of them had the same question in their minds, ‘What motivated Clint to become Ronin?

The fans have spent the last two years speculating the answer. Many believe that he was frustrated and wanted to grieve. This makes sense but it can not be enough for an Avenger to take law in his hands and go on a killing spree. We could have gotten the answer if Ronin had more screentime in Endgame, but we thought the developers kept it this way because they wanted to explain his character in-depth in his solo-outing. But so far, fans have been quite disappointed.

Biggest question about Ronin

There is a slight chance that the writers have something in the store for when Kate figures out that Clint was the Ronin. Like, they could have a Star Wars moment when Kate realizes that Ronin and Clint were one and the same. But with a bigger villain on his way and Yelena Belova coming to assassinate him, it is highly unlikely. Plus, with only three episodes remaining, packing so much in three episodes might make things seem jam-packed.

Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton, Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Fra Fee as Kazi, Vera Farmiga as Eleanor Bishop, Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez, Brian d’Arcy James, and possibly, Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin. Episode 4 arrives this Wednesday.
