Several New TV Spots of No Way Home Reveal Brand New Footage
With a little more than 20 days left for the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home fans are excited to see how the movie works and dive into the multiversal adventure. The marketing for the movie is also at new heights with news clips and footage being used everywhere. There were a lot of details that were revealed in the second trailer for the movie but it seems that that’s not sufficient and yet more details are set to come out in the upcoming days. While we wait for MCU’s next movie to come out, let’s take a look at the fresh footage we’ve got from all the new TV Spots of No Way Home.
Spider-Man: No Way Home TV Spots
So far what we have gotten to see of the movie has given us some idea regarding the structure of the narrative that will include some rather exciting moments. Some of these moments include a particular moment that will actually be the fight between the three Spider-Men and the three major villains Sandman, Electro, and Lizard. Though the scene had been edited out and there is hardly anything visible in the trailers but one can clearly feel the presence of two other heroes who could be none other than Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men. While the two other Spider-Men have been kept away from the TV Spot, we did get to see some more details in them. This also includes moments from the highway fight between Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock.
New Details
A lot of new TV Spots have been released following the release of the second trailer of No Way Home and we have been able to get some more details on the things we know so far. It seems the first encounter between Spidey and his villain is going to feature a lot more interaction between them. As Doc Ock goes to attack Spider-Man with his metallic arms Spidey revealed his Spider-like legs and this makes Doc Ock say, “Looks like we’ve got competition.” While Peter is donning the Iron Spider costume, Doc Ock imagines if this is the Spider-Man from his universe and says, “You think your fancy new suit’s gonna save you?” as he wraps his mechanical arms around him.
Though this highway sequence seems as it might actually be the most exciting scene from the movie there is a lot of focus on the confusion that will exist between the two characters. While Spidey has been able to dodge most of Doc Ock’s attacks, we hear him say, “I underestimated you, Peter,” to which a confused Spidey responds, “Do I know you?”. We had seen the reveal where Spider-Man reveals his face during the fight and Doc Ock is absolutely confused as he identifies this is not the Spider-Man he knew. This same feeling exists in Tom Holland’s Peter Parker who responds, “I am so confused right now!!” while hanging upside down.
Some more details are revealed regarding Peter’s friends and how they will play an important role to help Peter in the midst of this multiversal chaos. Peter tells Doctor Strange, “I’ll fix this but I’m gonna need some help,” and this follows with the reveals of MJ and Ned. While Ned and MJ might be the ones he was asking for, this could also be the scene where he asks for help from the Spider-Men of the universe where these villains have come from. Considering the danger that these villains impose on it is hardly believable that Peter would put his friends in further danger.
But we know that MJ and Ned will be of much help to Peter in the scenario as Ned comes out saying, “Let’s kick some Multiverse men,” while wielding a crossbow that might have some spell from Strange on it. MJ and Peter strike a deal as the former asks, “Just run it by us the next time you break the universe” and Peter agrees to do so. We also get a scene of Happy Hogan trying to get in touch with Peter as he calls him up and asks, “Yeah, Peter this is Happy. Who are those guys, huh? One of those guys is made of mud? Call me back.”, here made of mud must be a reference to Sandman.
We still don’t know if it’s true, but Doc Ock seems to be giving some reasonable advice to Peter. He tells him, “You are flying out into the darkness to fight ghosts.” This actually goes in parallel with what Strange tells him when he says this, “They all die fighting Spider-Man,” when talking about all the villains. This has made the movie much more impactful and heavy and at the same time a lot more exciting.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released in theaters worldwide on December 17. It stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, J.K.
