10 Kang Theories For MCU’s Future After Loki’s Finale

At this point in time, Loki has taken over the MCU without a doubt. Even though the first season has ended, it doesn’t mean that it won’t come back for Season 2. Well, it has already been announced and we cannot wait for it. The show has definitely lived up to the expectations of most. Apart from Loki, Sylvie, and Mobius, we got a chance to welcome another, He Who Remains. Well, actually, Kang. So, here are 10 Kang theories for his upcoming projects.

All Kang Theories For The Future

1. Kang & His City Chronopolis

Kang is all set to appear in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. This only means one thing and that is the madness is about to unfold. But previously in  Ant-Man And The Wasp, we saw a bubble city in the Quantum Realm. This could very well be Kang’s city called the Chronopolis. Considering that it exists out of time and place, it seems like the perfect place for Kang the Conqueror to rule from.

2. Kang Will Be The Big Bad Of Phase 4

Thanos is no more, and we need a villain that can shake every superhero in the MCU. Loki has now established the multiverse, and Kang is the master of hopping timelines. It’s almost definite that Kang will become the next big bad of Marvel. And with a caliber like his, the superheroes are in for a hard time. Plus it would be exciting to see his arc would pan out further from one phase to another.

3. Kang In The Multiverse Of Madness

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness is already going places and a number of characters are confirmed for it. Considering that it will follow up with the fallout of what happened at the end of Loki‘s season finale, Kang’s appearance seems really logical. And maybe in this movie, he could even give us a glimpse of his powers and tell establish his place in the MCU.

4. Kang Will Be A Variant In Quantummania

Kang Theories

He Who Remains made it fairly clear that he has a lot of variants of himself running loose in the universe. And of them will appear in Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania. But this Kang might just be a variant and not really a variant. But the connection to Quantum Realm may suggest that this variant has been hiding out in a place where time doesn’t really exist.

5. Kang Weaponizes The TVA

Right before season 1 ended, Loki realized that the Time-Keepers statue was gone. Moreover, it was replaced by Kang’s statue in all his glory. before this, Loki tells Mobius that He Who Remains is one of the good ones. So now, this Kang that has taken over the TVAwill definitely weaponize the TVA and too in a militant way. Unlike the previous TVA, Kang could be using this TVA to create his own version of history.

6. A Good Variant Of Kang

Just like Loki, the fans can expect one too many variants of Kang in the MCU as well. One such variant is a hero, but a variant of Kang. This variant already exists in the MCU and is Iron Lad. He is a teenage variant of Kang who rejected his destiny and formed the Young Avengers to fight his evil self. Talking about Young Avengers, Iron Lad is actually their leader. Plus, some of the members have already been introduced. So we can expect to see him soon.

7. Kang and Ravonna Will Fall In Love

Kang the Conqueror and Ravonna Renslayer actually do share a romantic relationship in the comics. And now, we can expect the same in MCU. As far as MCU is considered, it’s infamously known for changing the backstory. In the comics, Ravonna is actually a 40th century Princess and not a high school teacher from Ohio in 2018. At the end of the finale, Ravonna leaves the TVA to search for the truth. So she might just find the real Kang, the main variant, and kickstart the relationship.

8. Kang Will Play A Role In The Fantastic Four

The Fantastic Four movie is happening, and it’s helmed by our very own John Watts. Even though the movie is a few years away from us, it can still very well include Kang. Marvel’s First Family and Kang share a tough relationship in the comics, so he seems like the perfect villain for the team to face off against. He first fought them as the ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Rama Tut in Fantastic Four #19 in 1963.

9. Kang Will Erase The MCU Timeline

if Kang is the next big bad, then he can easily make up for Thanos’ absence. The Mad Titan could erase half of all life in the universe, but Kang can erase entire timelines. Loki revealed that He Who Remains did that. So for Kang, who’s evil, erasing entire timelines wouldn’t be a surprise. And just like Thanos, he will succeed in his villainous mission as well.

10. It All Ends In Battleworld

As I’ve mentioned about Secret Wars in the previous article, Loki could have set that up perfectly. Battleworld was the name of the planet beyond time created by The Beyonder in 1985’s comic book crossover Secret Wars. It’s the place where all of Earth’s greatest heroes and villains were cast. Now, this is a place that sounds like The Void where He Who Remains dumped all the unnecessary timelines. As it did in the 2015 version of Secret Wars, an all-out war can break out between universes and timelines.
