She has always wooed us with her impeccable combat skills. Time and again she has proved to us that she is all and well without any powers, and her skills are enough for her survival. Now that Black Widow is coming to entertain us, the new Black Widow teaser shows clear Iron Man 2 connections.
New Black Widow Teaser Shows Moments From Iron Man 2
Black Widow is coming for a change when it comes to her “family.” She has a new team, a Russian family, and joining her are Florence Pugh, David Harbour, and Rachel Weisz. Character-wise they are Yelena Belova, Alexei Shostakov, and Melina Vostokoff respectively. Marvel Studios unveiled a special look entitled “Playmaker” for the upcoming film, Black Widow.

The clip shows off a few new shots of fresh MCU faces such as Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova and David Harbour’s Alexei Shostakov aka Red Guardian. The wait for Black Widow is almost over. Finally, her origins and dark past will be answered in the MCU. It’ll be interesting to note how Black Widow will shift the ongoing tone of Phase 4.
Black Widow In MCU’s Phase 4
One must always remember that the movie is based between the time of Civil War and Infinity War. So the move will not dwell or mention anything about the events taken during for after Infinity War. It has been in the air that Thaddeus Ross and Valentina from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will appear in Black Widow. All I can personally vouch for is the drama that the movie will unfold.
Marvel’s theatrical is thoroughly missed. So, Black Widow definitely has a lot of expectations to fulfill. Moreover, the movie is set years before the current time stature of Phase 4. It will be interesting to see how the movie becomes relevant to current events. Natasha Romanoff is in for a ride, and we are ready for it. Yelena Belova has also mentioned how she loved the part where she almost bled to death. So, let’s wait for the chaos to unfold!
