There has been a buzz around Zack Snyder’s Justice League throughout the pandemic. Well, it has what it has – an intense storyline, perfect character arcs, and a Superman to sum it all.

Some craved for it and some had their issues with it but no one outright ignored it.

Godzilla vs. Kong on the other hand was coming off of a long history. It is the 36th film in the Godzilla franchise and the 12th film in the King Kong franchise. In the battle of GvK vs. JL, the MonsterVerse has prevailed.

They pan out an outlook as per the film and the liking of the audience.

There might not be SnyderVerse but there sure will be another film that might hop onto the wheel of the franchise for Godzilla or King Kong.

With multiple streaming platforms fighting each other – it’s highly likely that the data reaching the audience on the numbers might not be a hundred percent accurate. Streamers could just be painting a good picture for themselves.

The Winner

The MonsterVerse film garnered more views and had incredible collections over the debut week. With the viewership increasing, it was clear that this film exceeded the Snyder Cut and Wonder Woman 1984 as well.

GvK came out on top with 8.1 percent total viewership and Justice League was third in the line with 6.3 percent of total viewership with The Little things being in the middle with 7.2 percent.

After all the statistics that we read, learn or think about, it is HBO Max that’s the real winner.

Christopher Nolan might stay away from any streaming platform (especially HBO Max), but this WarnerMedia streamer is surely the winner that takes it all away.

On the reports that are to be believed, the wait for Justice League wasn’t worth the hype it created but Zack had his way till the point he wanted.

The MonsterVerse being an event film versus a director’s cut of a film – people had to weigh in at some point with their viewership and money.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League was a big deal but the excitement lowered down as the days passed by.
