The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is currently streaming on Disney+. With only one episode out, the show has already lived up to its potential. The show follows after Steve Rogers (Captain America) passes on his legacy to Sam (Falcon). The Falcon and The Winter Soldier focuses on Sam and Bucky’s lives after Steve left and how everything is affected by the events in Endgame. The show focuses on Sam’s dilemma and his promise to maintain the saga of Captain America, and Bucky dealing with his past as the Winter Soldier and taking on a new identity.
The show goes in the direction of who will be the next Captain America. Many people get confused between the U.S. Agent and Captain America. No, they are not the same! They are two totally different characters. So the question remains, who will be the final Captain America by the end of this series? Well, there has been a major reveal over Twitter. Images shared on Twitter give a close look at Falcon’s red-white-and-blue Captain America attire in toy form. It gives us a view of the Marvel Select figure from the front and back, as well as in its original packaging. Check it out:

We can see the Falcon holding the shield of Captain America. His wings and costumes represent the flag of America, exactly how Captain America’s suit did. The figure is a sound resemblance to Sam’s previous costume. Sam Wilson wore the almost same costume in the 2014 All-New Captain America comic book series for Marvel, written by Rick Remender and illustrated by Stuart Immonen.
When Steve loses his super-soldier serum, his body reverses back to the original body type and age. Hence, Steve passes down his legacy to Sam Wilson. Sam then goes on to lead the new Avengers Mark Waid and Mahmud Asrar’s All-New, All-Different Avengers. The team featured the new Captain America alongside Iron Man, Jane Foster’s Thor and Vision, along with new recruits Ms. Marvel, Spider-Man (Miles Morales), and Nova (Sam Alexander).
But it isn’t only Sam who could be the one to rock Captain America’s shield. The first episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier featured Wyatt Russell’s US Agent. Even though he’s a different character altogether, but the show could end up with him being the new Captain America. He appeared in the final moments of the episode. It will be definitely interesting to see where the show goes, and what will be the outcome of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
