But, the most intriguing question is if these affairs are posted the events of Avengers: Endgame, then how is that vision is still alive and if he is how is the mind stone still visible on his forehead. When we all know that after the events of Endgame, Steve Roger’s went back into the quantum tunnel and placed each stone back in the original timeline from where they initially gathered from. So, in this blog let’s understand the reincarnation of the synthezoid called Vision and what makes him alive and kicking.

For those who haven’t seen WandaVision episode 5, Major *Spoilers ahead*

S.W.O.R.D identifies Wanda as a threat

In a briefing that takes place at the SWORD’s shift site outside Westview in Episode 5, Director Hayward entrusts Jimmy Woo with a debrief of Wanda Maximoff’s history. However, in the middle of the rundown seeing the empathetic tone with which Jimmy Woo was addressing the team regarding the matter, got Tyler Hayward all rattled up. He wished to change the team’s focus completely on Wanda being the bad person here, even underlying her past contributions in Age of Ultron and the Endgame. Tyler even went to the extent of calling her inhuman and wanting to refer to her anything, but her name. This also confirmed that as of now Wanda has still not earned her name ‘Scarlet Witch’ in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Tyler in pursuit of his designation as the Director of S.W.O.R.D even struck down a similar notion coming from Monica Rambeau, which made it clear about his belief about the whole Wanda situation and how moving forward wanted his team to consider Wanda as, a terrorist and a threat. Tyler’s prejudice of superpowered people or should we say mutants is somewhat of an argument, as Tyler Hayward’s origins have still not been announced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the plot that follows, we see Tyler authorizing a drone strike on Wanda, who is in an alternate reality bubble that surrounds Westview county. This leads to another reaction from Wanda which kind of ascertains Tyler’s prejudice to anyone a little different from the human race.

Wanda Saved Vision

After Avengers: Endgame with the world reeling from the shock of the loss of some noticeable heroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and with SHIELD nowhere in the picture. The cleanup came down o SWORD, who led by Tyler Hayward decided to take Vision’s corpse for protection.

In place of the events that are going down in Westview county, a video is shown by Tyler Hayward (Director of SWORD) where Wanda is shown breaking into SWORD’s secret facility and take Vision’s corpse with her.

Or the other way to look at the footage is, that a group of scientists is seen experimenting on vision’s body and different parts of his body are being connected to different machinery. Wanda on sensing this arrives at the secret facility and is pushed to the limits on seeing what was being made of the love of her life in the name of protection.

This incident brings to light another hidden agenda as to how the new Director of S.W.O.R.D was running things as per her liking. If you remember S.W.O.R.D was an initiative started by Maria Rambeau, mother of Monica Rambeau. When Monica returns from her brief disappearance after the Infinity Wars and finds out about her mother’s demise and that she had been out of commission for almost 5 years. Monica decided to return to the S.W.O.R.D headquarters to resume the job that her mother had entrusted her with. Only to find out that the astronaut program for which SWORD was initially formed has been put on hold and that they were now “refocused on robotics, nanotech and artificial intelligence”, which also explains why Tyler did not want Monica back at SWORD as she might have discovered his truth and may have proven to be a hindrance to his master plan which was already in motion.

The plot brings into light the sentient program from the X-Men series and points out the technology being developed using Vision’s corpse as the blueprint. Wanda could not have gone through the whole ordeal of stealing Vision’s corpse if she did not have a clue what Tyler’s plan was after figuring it out. Thus, Wanda was saving not just vision, but the rest of the humanity from an impending danger which she foresaw in the form of Director Tyler.
