Ray Fisher Reveals Whether The Flash Will Be Connected To The Snyder Cut

The Flash Will Be Connected To The Snyder Cut:

One of the reasons why we’re excited for Zack Snyder’s Justice League is because we will get to see Snyder’s true vision, which had Cyborg playing a major role in it. Snyder has gone on record to say that Cyborg is the heart of the Justice League. Since he will have such a huge role to play in the miniseries/movie, we can’t help but wonder about Cyborg’s future.

It is a known fact that Ray Fisher was supposed to get his own solo Cyborg movie. It was actually scheduled for April 2020 itself. But right after Zack Snyder left, everything fell apart. The Flash kept changing its directors. The same happened for Suicide Squad 2. Ben Affleck became demotivated with everything that happened behind the scenes on Justice League. So, he also left for a while. Green Lantern Corps. got pushed back. And obviously, the solo Cyborg project was almost cancelled.

But now that Zack Snyder’s Justice League is back in play, people can’t help but wonder as to how exactly will it connect with the other theatrical releases. Well, the correct answer to this question is that it won’t. DC is already doing its multiverse thing, so everything that happens in Zack Snyder’s Justice League will now take place in its own different Universe. It will be in continuation with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (Ultimate Edition). We just have to believe that there are two different DCEUs now. In one of those, Justice League plays the way it did in the theatres. And in the other Universe that will now continue on HBO Max, Justice League will play out in the way that Snyder intends for it.

Snyder talked about this matter at Justice Con back in July, and he said that his cut will now form its own Snyderverse. Now, Ray Fisher has also spoken about it. He recently spoke to Hasan Mohammed of the Geek House Show. Here, watch his interview if you haven’t:

As you can see, Fisher has revealed how the Snyder Cut will be different from the theatrical Josstice League. But, he was also asked about whether Snyder Cut’s story will transition into The Flash movie. And he also hinted upon DC’s multiverse route. So, it more or less confirmed that in The Flash, Barry Allen & Cyborg’s story will continue from where it was left in the theatrical version of Justice League. As for a Cyborg solo movie in the future, it might be connected with the Snyder Cut. The way the Cyborg’s project releases will also matter here. If his film comes out in the theatres, then it might take place after the events of The Flash. But if it is an HBO Max series then it will most likely take place in Snyder’s universe. The same goes for Ben Affleck’s solo Batman project which is being rumored for HBO Max.

Let’s see how things turn out with Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Here are the key details of Snyder’s 5 movie arc of the DCEU, that have been revealed in the past:

“Snyder’s Justice League would play like the theatrical version, with one ending twist: Darkseid revealing himself to the League, as Steppenwolf’s master.

Justice League 2 would’ve gone cosmic, with the League mounting an attack on Apokolips and Darkseid. That major event would’ve brought the New Gods of New Genesis and the Green Lantern Corps into the mix.

The second movie would’ve ended on a dark and ominous loss, as Darkseid thrashed the Justice League and killed Lois Lane, taking Superman prisoner and creating the “Dark Superman” we saw in Batman v Superman through the Anti-Life Equation

Justice League 3 would’ve seen Darkseid invade Earth without the League there to defend it, conquering the planet and creating the “Knightmare” reality in Batman v Superman.

Through several time travel loops (including Flash’s failed warning to Bruce in Batman v Superman) Batman would have to reach Superman and bring him back on the side of good, so that the League could defeat Darkseid and save the world.”

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is set to arrive in 2021.
