Marvel’s Avengers has hit the markets and people are loving it. The players get to play with their favorite heroes in a campaign that is pretty extensive, thrilling & worth every penny spent upon the game. The Avengers take on the leader of AIM, MODOK along with other villains like Taskmaster & Abomination. But as we go through the story mode, there’s one particular moment where we see a major similarity between an Avenger of this game and the MCU. Apparently, one of the Avengers besides Thor is capable of wielding Mjolnir in the game. Here, watch this video and see for yourself:
In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America was able to move Mjolnir just a tiny bit. He gets a similar moment in Marvel’s Avengers game as well. We see that he isn’t fully capable of lifting it yet, but he did clearly move the magical hammer whereas the characters couldn’t. So, maybe when a sequel to this game is released in the future, Captain America might actually wield Mjolnir and surprise everyone in his team once again. It was a massive moment in the MCU, and it could be huge in Marvel’s gaming universe as well.
For now, Marvel’s Avengers only offers 6 playable characters. But more DLC characters will be added in the future. Hawkeye is one of those, and if you are a PS4 owner, then you will get the luxury of playing with Spider-Man as well. It is rumored that many other characters might be added in the game. The rumored names include – Ant-Man, Wasp, Vision, Black Panther, Dr Strange, Falcon, Mar-Vell, Mockingbird, Quake, Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel, Kate Bishop, She-Hulk & War Machine.
