Netflix is Adding a Lot of Content in April to Help in Our Self-Quarantine

People have been countering Coronavirus quite nicely. COVID-19 has impacted the entertainment industry in a major way as filming upon more than 100 Hollywood projects have been halted. No series or awaited film will begin shooting for the next 2-3 days. Theatres are shut down so films like Bloodshot, The Invisible Man, Birds of Prey & Sonic the Hedgehog have been pulled out of the theatres early for their home release. And, in the days of our self-quarantine, Netflix is going to help us pass our time with their quality content in April.

Here’s everything that is coming to Netflix starting from 1st April itself:

April 1st

 1. Community (6 Seasons) – All six seasons of the NBC/Sony sitcom arrive on Netflix on April 1st.

2. How to Fix a Drug Scandal (Limited Series) N – Docuseries looking at a drug scandal that gripped the US.

3. Man Like Mobeen (Season 3) – British comedy series.

4. Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon (Season 3) – More adventures with Ash and Pikachu in the Pokemon’s Sun & Moon series.

5. Sunderland ‘Til I Die (Season 2) N – Docuseries covering a new season at the British soccer team.

6. Tad the Lost Explorer and the Secret of King Midas – Animated kids movie about an aspiring explorer striving to rescue the love of his life and unravel the golden secrets behind the Midas Papyrus.

7. The Little Vampire (2017) – Animated kids adventure about a young vampire trying to stay alive with a vampire hunter in town.

Community making its way upon Netlfix surely is a big deal. Too bad the NBC show had to end, but now people would be able to enjoy all six seasons of the show that ran from 2009 to 2015.

April 3rd

1. Coffee & Kareem (2020) N – Ed Helms, Betty Gilpin, King Bach, and David Alan Grier star in this comedy about a Detroit cop who teams up with his girlfriend’s young son to tackle a conspiracy together.

2. Money Heist (Part 4) N – The Spanish phenomenon returns for its fourth part.

People surely would be excited to see the next part of Money Heist. It is one of the most beloved Netflix originals.

April 22nd

1. After Life (Season 2) N – Ricky Gervais’s comedy returns for another down-to-earth season where he’s promised the dog won’t die.

2. Extraction (2020) N – New action movie featuring Chris Hemsworth.

This will probably be the biggest Netflix release of the month. Chris Hemsworth plays a character called Tyler Rake, a man who is “physically brave but an emotional coward.” But he must “come to terms with his identity and sense of self” as he attempts to liberate a kidnapped son of an Indian businessman. Along with Hemsworth & Harbour, there’s some great Indian talent to follow – Manoj Bajpai, Pankaj Tripathi, and Randeep Hooda.

Netflix presents a lot of reasons for us to not get out of our houses. Staying home is the best way to fight the global pandemic, i.e. COVID-19.
