4 Reasons Why the Latest Season of Suits became its Best

Suits is a show which has always been about Harvey Specter. But over the course of 5 seasons the show-makers have adapted and given the show a new feel. With some exceptional cast and office/legal/drama storytelling, Suits as a show has evolved. With more complex storylines and character, the season 5 of the show has certainly achieved new heights. This season started with a bang, then digressed and then again got back on track. We point out 4 reasons as to why Suits Season 5 is the best till now:

The Human Side of Harvey Specter

Harvey Specter
Harvey Specter

For the past 4 years, we saw a Harvey Specter who was undeterred by any issues involving his professional and personal life. Even when push come to shove, Harvey Specter stood. He defended attacks from Cameron Dennis, Daniel Hardman and Edward Darby to name a few. Special Mention, Travis Tanner. But when his most trusted companion, friend and well-wisher, Donna leaves him, Harvey Specter breaks down. He starts having panic attacks. This is a situation that nobody could see coming. Certainly, the show-runners decided to show the Human Side of Harvey; AND IT WORKED.

The Rise of Ross

Mike Ross

Mike Ross, the fraudulent lawyer, started as a shadow to Harvey. Well folks, he isn’t a kid anymore. He is handling cases himself. His chemistry with Robert Zane was one thing to watch this season. Mike Ross has finally moved beyond Harvey Specter. He is in for making a name for himself. And the latest development, where he was nominated for Junior Partner just shows that the show will become more intense. Will he accept it or just do as Jessica says?

Esther

Who could have seen it coming? Esther. Louis’ sister. An incredible woman. Harvey is instantly drawn to her. The feeling is mutual. But the problem, Harvey’s promise to Louis. Esther is one character that just took the show to new heights.

Jack Soloff, Travis Tanner and Daniel Hardman

Jack Soloff
Jack Soloff

Yes the three baddies. Travis Tanner has changed. Jack Soloff back-stabbed. Daniel Hardman is back. Ok, now lets slow down a moment. We didnt see Daniel Hardman coming back. And as far as every Suits fan knows, he is back for blood. Jack Soloff is just his puppy. And I see a scenario where Harvey could turn to Tanner 2.0 for help against Hardman. These things just made this season a lot more interesting.

Suits has definitely evolved as a show and seems to get better every season. This season of Suits has already set the bar very high. If you think otherwise, or want to elaborate on any other reason as to why you like this season, please put it in the comments section below:
