Blade – No One’s Talking About Vampires in the MCU. Have They Always Existed?

The MCU started off being as real worldly as possible. The first Iron Man movie actually felt very real and authentic. Tony’s tech then kept evolving at a very quick rate and things started to feel very fictitious with other Superheroes coming into play. We’ve come across so many different elements in the MCU. There have been extraterrestrial attacks, robot attacks, mystical threats, shrinking & embiggening technologies, and so many other things. But never once has the MCU really mentioned Eternals, Deviants, Mutants, Atlanteans, Inhumans or Vampires. These are the 6 factions of people that will suddenly come into existence in Phase 4 & Phase 5. So how will the MCU make us believe that these people have existed in the world but they never had any sort of impact upon the world until now? The upcoming Blade movie will certainly explain how the Vampires have come into play.

Eternals will tell us how the Eternals & the Deviants have stayed hidden for so long. We might also get to know how the mutants came into existence through Eternals. It’d be easy to have the Atlanteans & the Inhumans hidden until now. But will it be easy to hide Vampires? How has SHIELD, programs like Project Insight or even the Avengers never come across Vampires if they already exist? There may be 2-3 valid reasons to explain how the Blade movie has suddenly led to the arrival Vampires in the MCU.

A Virus

These days, no other virus is more important than the Coronavirus. But the Coronavirus may actually give Marvel the idea of using a deadly Virus to explain how the world is suddenly crawling with Vampires. A scientist might come up with a deadly virus that spreads faster than the Coronavirus. And it could be the reason why so many people in the MCU have been turning into Vampires. Since the Vampires need blood to survive, it is logical that even one individual turning into a Vampire could begin a chain reaction turning millions into blood sucking monsters. It’d be similar to how Zombies take over the world.

Morbius

Sony’s Morbius movie is coming to the theatres this year. It connects to MCU’s Spider-Man. But if it also connects to the rest of the MCU, then we might find the answer to the existence of Vampires in this film. The virus scenario could be used by Morbius. This would further set up a Morbius vs. Blade film. But don’t keep your hopes high for this to happen.

A Vampire Country

Since the Vampires never come out in broad daylight, it’d be easy to keep them hidden. But what if someone like Count Darcula has his own little country, and that is where the Vampires have stayed hidden all this time. Just like people considered Wakanda as a third world country, they could consider the Vampire region (maybe Transylvania or some other place) as an abandoned region of horrors.

The Multiverse

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is going to be a film that will be full of horror sequences and explanations of the Infinite Earths theory. So perhaps the Multiverse might be used to bring Vampires into the MCU. We’d have to wait and see which of these will come true.
