The thing that makes this movie awesome is the fact that it has happened to a lot of people in real life. The plot is very simple, a man who had a crush on a woman he knew since high school, gets another opportunity to reconnect with her. The humor and the acting make this movie special and it will leave you in splits if you enjoy laughing at simple things.
#9: My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997)
Even though Julia Roberts plays an ignorant character in the movie and comes off as a jerk, we still cannot hate her. It revolves around a girl who sets out to get his long-time friend who is getting married in two days. The plot of the movie is a bit controversial and it can upset some people, but we advise you not to put too much thought into it and just enjoy it.
#8: Bridget Jones’s Diary (2001)
Bridget Jones’s Diary is an iconic movie that is just delightful to watch. It is a superb adaptation of the novel and the makers have managed to keep the tone of the movie the same as the novel. It is not your average “chick-flick” as it also touches upon a lot of other important social issues such as gender equality and other stereotypes.

Groundhog Day is a universally loved and cherished movie that just keeps on giving. When a weatherman lives the same day over and over again, his life starts to crumble. The movie focuses a lot on the relationship of the lead character played by the lovely Bill Murray. It is one of the warmest movies you will see and humor in the movie is very mature and intelligent.

Tom Hanks can pull off any character as he just doesn’t know how to quit. Sleepless in Seattle is a proper chick flick and we mean it as a compliment. It is one of those movies that even makes the viewers feel good about their lives. The movie is made for hopeless romantics who believe that they can find love at any given place.

Notting Hill is a movie about every man’s dream – to meet the world’s most beautiful actress in the world and ultimately fall in love together. It is truly a fairy-tale romance and events depicted in the movie hardly ever happens in real, but we are true believers of love. Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant are both amazing in the movie.

This movie is an awesome adaption of Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew” and it has several twists that will melt your heart. Although this movie is set on a bunch of high schoolers, it is not just another teen movie. It is a proper romantic movie with amazing humor. It is possibly the best teenage romantic movie of all time.

Love Actually is a character-rich movie that you will enjoy to the fullest. It tells the story of eight couples dealing with their love lives. This movie will teach you a lot about life and relationships. It is beautifully written and connects all the characters beautifully. The movie sends out a very strong message about love.
