Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is all set to destroy Box offices around the world. The movie is already in theatres but despite mixed reviews, the loyal Star Wars fan base is flocking to the big screens to witness the end of the half a century old saga. The Skywalker legacy comes to an end with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the movie is getting all the right hype for all the right reasons. The mixed reactions for the movie may have put off some of the viewers who would be now skeptical of going and watching the movie. But you know what they say – sometimes help comes from the unlikeliest of places. This time Lucas Film found a ray of hope and encouragement from a brand they never thought would have been possible in their wildest imaginations. Presenting – Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker finds an unlikely sponsor – Durex Condoms!!!
Durex Condoms, a brand of Condoms in India known for their amazing advertising campaigns, were seen boasting words of encouragement to the Star Wars crew at Lucas Film. They wrote something very innovative at their Twitter Handle and all Indian fans, in particular, took notice and could not help but start laughing at the sheer ingenuity of it all.
The tweet read and we quote:
“Because a good climax can make you feel like you are skywalking!” The company added a little self-promotion by pointing users to a link for its new couple’s product.

The tweet is basically Durex trying to use wordplay and creative content to catch hold of the hype around Star Wars. They have been known for their amazing advertisement campaigns in the past. Durex Condoms India even released an image showing two light-sabers meets in the background with the Star Wars poster in the foray. The writing on the image reads “Come Together for the great ending”. We don’t know how Durex does it but we have to hand it to them. They are pretty good at it!!
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will reveal to us the end of the Skywalker saga. The saga that began with Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa and Han Solo is finally coming to an end. It will also signal a new chapter of Star Wars, one that will feature new characters completely unrelated to the old legacy that will take center stage and hog the spotlight. The fans are already excited as to how the movie might turn out to be. This Durex Condom ad is just icing on the cake.
