#1: DC wanted her badly
Sandra Bullock is one of the best actresses out there and everyone wanted a piece of that. DC was considering her for the role of Lois Lane in a proposed relaunch of the Superman franchise by Warner Brothers. Apart from that, she was considered for the role of Wonder Woman in a film adaptation that was never made. Unfortunately, they could never bag Sandra Bullock.
#2: She’s a Generous human being
Sandra Bullock has proved that she is a human first and then an actor. She is known for her generous donations, she donated $1 million to the American Red Cross after the September 11 terrorist attacks in 2001. Did the same, again donating $1 million to the Red Cross, after the tsunami disaster in Asia in 2004. She again donated $1 million, this time to Doctors Without Borders, after the 2010 Haiti Earthquake.

On April 18, 2008, Sandra and her ex-husband Jesse James, went through a very scary event. A drunk driver crashed into their car head-on at a very high speed. Both the vehicles were totaled but luckily no one was hurt. Sandra only got minor injuries and thankfully the outcome was not horrifying.

Sandra Bullock is one of four actresses to win both, the Oscar for Best Actress and the Razzie for the Worst Actress. The other three actresses are Halle Berry, Faye Dunaway, and Liza Minnelli. Bullock is the only one to be nominated for and win both awards in the same year. She won the Oscar for “The Blind Side” (2009) and the Razzie for “All About Steve” (2009). She was presented with the awards within two days in 2010.

Sandra Bullock’s life is better than your average action movie. In 2000, when Sandra was flying in a plane from Wyoming, her jet missed the runaway and after sustaining major damage, it crashed. Luckily, Sandra was not hurt physically, but she was a wreck emotionally. Since then she has been “deathly afraid of flying”.

We all know Sandra has the pull and no one would be surprised to know that she can handle it all by herself. By starring in “The Blind Side” she became the only actress to have a film marketed with her name solely above the title, that is, based on her star power alone, and not a franchise or tent-pole picture, to pass the $200 million mark at US domestic gross.
#9: A Stalker once broke into her house when she was present
Joshua James Corbett, Sandra’s stalker, broke into her Los Angeles home in 2014. Sandra had to hide in her closet while calling the police. Sandra was on the phone with the authorities for about 15 minutes until the police finally arrived and arrested the intruder. Corbett entered a no-contest plea and is now prohibited from seeing Bullock for 10 years.

Sandra Bullock’s life turned upside down when it was revealed that her husband, Jesse James, was cheating on her with the adult-movie star Michelle McGee for the last 11 months. She separated from her husband after this revelation on March 15, 2010.
