10 Scenes That Never Happened That Would Have Made Avengers Endgame Even More Epic

It took more than a decade for Marvel Comics to come up for the title plan for the movie equivalent of Infinity Gauntlet. It took them just another year to make the sequel to that movie, each movie crossing milestone after milestone. Avengers: Endgame turned out to be the world’s highest-grossing movie ever, crossing Avatar in gross Box Office Sales. The movie was epic in all proportions. There were enough scenes in the movie to drive audiences wild. Many comic book moments made the movie an extravaganza of an extraordinary caliber. It was truly a cinematic festival. And yet there were certainly some complains. One section of the fans wanted even more moments than were delivered to them. They claim that there was a chance for the movie to be even better had these scenes been included in the theatrical version. And to be honest, they are right! Presenting – 10 Scenes that never happened that would have made Avengers: Endgame even more Epic!

 1. Hank Pym as Ant-Man

Epic Scenes That Never Happened in Avengers Endgame

You may associate Scott Lang as the best Ant-man. But the one true Ant-Man and king of the mantle will always be Hank Pym. Pym was not only one of the most gifted minds in the world, but also one of the first ever members of the Avengers. Hank Pym as Ant-Man would have made so much sense since that is where he actually belongs.

Epic Scenes That Never Happened in Avengers Endgame

We see Hank as an old, frail guy trying to keep everything together. Michael Douglas does a good job but it is not enough. Ant-Man, the true Ant-Man, can never run away from his destiny. If they could have shown Hank Pym returning and donning his older suit to fight the forces of Thanos, the fans could have been satiated.

 2. Winter Soldier’s “Hey Steve” moment

Epic Scenes That Never Happened in Avengers Endgame

There are a lot of budding friendships in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that developed into absolute brotherhood. But the one that will always stand apart is Bucky and Steve. Captain America and the Winter Soldier go way back, and that is in the literal sense. Bucky was part of Steve’s motley crew since the Second World War. When Bucky ‘died’, it turned out to be one of the saddest moments in the Marvel movies.

Epic Scenes That Never Happened in Avengers Endgame

We see Bucky coming back again in The Winter Soldier and after the two guys made amends, it was always a breezy road for Cap and Bucky. They have been pals ever since. So when Bucky died in Infinity War, it was a sigh of relief to see him again in Endgame. What truly lacked was a touching reunion scene.

 3. Avengers in Asgard

Epic Scenes That Never Happened in Avengers Endgame

We don’t know why Marvel did not think of this. We know Asgard plays a huge role in the MCU. And yet we have seen so little of it. The Studio could have at least showed us something more substantial than just the characters. Ragnarok was a start but before we knew it, they destroyed Asgard. We know that Asgard is not actually just a saucer plate. It still exists. The time Heist saga took us to Asgard but the rest of the Avengers could have been included in Rocket and Thor’s Journey. They were not and that is just sad. A vital piece of MCU history was lost to crappy screen-writing.

 4. Where was Goose?

Epic Scenes That Never Happened in Avengers Endgame

The one thing that was unanimously liked by all the people watching Captain Marvel was Goose the cat. While you may hate Brie Larson for her controversial statements, Goose the cat deserves all the praise. The Flerken cat has a Kraken like a mouth that can open up to reveal huge tentacles that help gobble the alien creature everything. The stomach of a Flerken is also bottomless and is connected to another dimension. If Goose could have been seen in the final fight against Thanos in Endgame, where Goose takes down some of his soldiers by literally swallowing them whole, it would have sent chills and laughter all over the theatre.

 5. King Eitri repays Thanos the favour

Epic Scenes That Never Happened in Avengers Endgame

Eitri, played by Peter Dinklage in Infinity War, was one of the highlights of the movie. Sadly, we did not see the guy again in Endgame. In Infinity War, Eitri was forced to work for Thanos, helping him make the Infinity Gauntlet and after his work was done, Thanos murdered his people, left him the sole survivor and cemented his hands together, so that no one could make another Infinity Gauntlet. Eitri is the last of his kind, all thanks to Thanos. He could have used some form of revenge against the Mad Titan. When the portals opened, he could have come along with some weapons of wonder to aid the good guys to defeat the purple freak’s army.

 6. Korg attacks

Epic Scenes That Never Happened in Avengers Endgame

The character that was voiced by Taika Watiti himself needed more screen time in the movie. The accent of the character aside, Korg in an innately funny character that was the source of some good humorous scene in Thor: Ragnarok, one of the most hilariously addictive movies in Marvel’s arsenal. We saw Korg in Endgame, where he stayed all day long inside Thor’s home and played games with him. But Korg does turn up to aid his blonde friend fight Thanos. It is just that they do not show him enough. We must remember that Korg was once a gladiator in Grandmaster’s arena, so he has enough battle credentials to be considered a heavyweight.

 7. Nebula steals the Gauntlet

Epic Scenes That Never Happened in Avengers Endgame

In the comics, Nebula stays beside Thanos when he wields the Infinity Gauntlet and steals it from him the moment Thanos lets his guard down. The movie does not have to portray such a scene. We know that Nebula was one of the good guys in the movie, even though her character showed a lot of conflicts. We could have at least been shown a scene where Nebula tries to steal the Gauntlet from Thanos and even momentarily succeeds. That fact that there is not even one scene that showed something of that sort is an outright criminal offense.

 8. Iron Man and Rescue – Tag Team mayhem

Epic Scenes That Never Happened in Avengers Endgame

Iron Man has created many suits of armour for himself. If we start counting them, it will take us all day. But the one that we would like to mention here is not the Iron Man Endgame armour but the Rescue armour. Iron Man did not want his family members to join in the fight, so he did not create any sort of armours for them. Pepper Potts wore Iron Man armour once but we never got to see the Rescue armour in all its glory up until Endgame. The Rescue Armour was brought into the fold late but it was perfect. The suit also had weapons installed instead of just defensive equipment, which meant that Tony was finally letting go of his insecurities. The only thing that was lacking was even more of Iron Man and Rescue in not just one but several scenes.

 9. Hulk vs. Thanos

Epic Scenes That Never Happened in Avengers Endgame

The Professor Hulk twist was a good one but we all love the brute Hulk. It is alright for Bruce Banner to have some character development but even in the comic books, Professor Hulk was a just a temporary endeavor for Banner, who soon found himself reverting back to his original dynamics with the Hulk persona. The fact that Banner managed to stay as the Hulk for the whole runtime of Endgame astonishes us. There is also the fact that the Hulk never got his rematch with Thanos. That would have been truly spectacular.

 10. Iron Man in Soul World

Epic Scenes That Never Happened in Avengers Endgame

When Thanos snapped his fingers, he enters the Soul World where he meets a younger version of Gamora. Iron Man also snapped his fingers and died in the process. He did not get to enter the realm of the Soul Stone.

Epic Scenes That Never Happened in Avengers Endgame

That is just a big white shame since there were actually plans for Tony to enter the Soul World after he dies and meet an older version of Morgan Stark, played by Katherine Langford of 13 Reasons Why fame. There he explains why he did what he did to his daughter and some parting advice to his only child before he passes away to the afterlife. We would have been crying and screaming at the top of our lungs if this scene had actually made it to the movie.
