Two New Spider-Man: Far From Home TV Spots Show New Footage With Spidey Suits

Spider-Man: Far From Home is headed our way, and because summer is so filled with movies, we wouldn’t really know the difference waiting for the final MCU movie of the year. While we get entertained by other films, Sony’s gonna keep the marketing for Spider-Man: Far From Home continued. We have reached the moment where we start to get a slew of new footage from the film as a part of TV Spots, clips, and other featurettes. Well, here are two new international spots, enjoy:

Seeing Pete cry just breaks our hearts as this film does make us remember the heart wrecking snap that Tony Stark pulled off to save the Universe. The good thing is that we’re gonna get over it as Spider-Man: Far From Home does take us on an adventure with the Web-Slinger. Marvel just isn’t holding back with anything in this franchise as it has just been 4 years and Spidey has already had 5 MCU appearances. To follow those 5, he’s had 5 different Spidey suits and that’s just insane.

These spots showed us the Iron Spider suit, the new Stealth Suit and the new Red-Black suit. There’s a rumor that Spidey may as well don the UK suit in the film as well, but take that as a grain of salt. It seems that MJ and Pete are finally going to become a thing, and that’s just great to see. But more than that relationship, people are going to love the dynamic between Peter and Quentin Beck aka Mysterio.

Tom Holland described Peter Parker and Quentin Beck as “Brothers in arms.” At CCXP, Jake Gyllenhaal weighed in upon how his character gets recruited by Fury and what’s the tie-up between them. He said:

“There are these threats to the world, the Elementals, elemental creatures. And Mysterio is someone who knows about them and wants to make sure that the world is safe from them. And Nick Fury asks him to come on and help because he’s the only one who really understands them. And then he teams up with the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and unfortunately has to make him become more than a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.”

Director Jon Watts said that Mysterio will be the one to take the spot of Tony Stark in this film. He said:

“If Tony Stark was sort of the mentor in the previous films, we thought it would be interesting to play Mysterio as almost like the cool uncle.”

Well, Nick Fury is going to be a mentor, but it seems that Pete and Quentin are gonna get much closer than that. This is why it’s just going to break Peter emotionally when the reality of Quentin is gonna come out. That would be the greatest test in Peter’s life as after having lost his only father figure, he is going to lose another Mentor that he trusted, and this time it will be even worse. All this will help Pete grow much more as a character, and that’s what’s great about this film.
