Falcon & Winter Soldier Working Title Reportedly Revealed

After Spider-Man: Far From Home introduces us to the future of the MCU post the Snap, no other film will deal with it until 2021 because the coming to films are prequels. But that doesn’t mean that things won’t be dealt with. Marvel will be having a major presence on Disney+ through their MCU integrated TV series, and Falcon & Winter Soldier will be the first one to arrive.

Falcon & Winter Soldier

We’ve been told that the series will hit the streaming service by August 2020, and since Kevin Feige will be looking over these shows, they will directly connect to what happened in the movies. The movies will also be acknowledging them. So, Falcon & Winter Soldier will become the first Marvel property that deals with the future of the MCU post the Endgame snap. Since Spider-Man: Far From Home is a movie with only limited screen time, it probably may not go into detail exploring the effects of the snaps to the little people, but having the luxury of more screen time, Falcon & Winter Soldier just might do that.

Falcon & Winter Soldier

Earlier, Sebastian Stan revealed that they are supposed to begin filming in October this year, but now a new update says that the show is actually eyeing a commencement date of August 12th, in Atlanta. Now, this city as many of you may know is clearly the home of a lot of these Superhero films. It’s almost like a film won’t be worthy of being called a Marvel movie if it didn’t film in Atlanta. It’s good that Falcon & Winter Soldier won’t fall into that category even though it is not a film.

‘Tag Team’ just works so well as a working title. Usually, some of the working titles for certain projects are so difficult to decipher, but this series surely has a great one that totally fits the bill. Tag Team is exactly what this show is going to be about, as the friendship between Bucky and Sam will obviously grow as their characters get to spend a lot of the screen time that they get together.

Falcon & Winter Soldier

There are supposed to be 6 episodes in this show, and even with the larger room to work with, we can expect little to almost no difference between shows like this and the MCU movies. All of the exclusive MCU content that gets produced for Disney+ will have a bigger budget involved, so it’s just great to know that the quality of the content won’t be degraded. Captain America 2 & 3 established these two characters as certified bad-asses, and we can expect a whole lot of that from these two individuals.

Falcon & Winter Soldier

Here’s what Sebastian Stan had to say about the upcoming series:

“I think it’s time for Bucky to go out there and have an identity outside of the circumstances that we’ve met him through. So, I don’t know, he might do all kinds of things. He might even go on a date. I don’t know. Scary world out there, you know? Apps, things like that. I don’t know what he’s gonna do. I can’t see him on an iPhone…I think it’s gonna be a lot of dealing with Anthony’s character and Anthony himself which is always another character.

Falcon & Winter Soldier

I think my favorite is all the Ed Brubaker stuff. That was my favorite stuff, and it was just really great to get to do some of that in the movies, and you know, I would love…I always say this all the time but I think it would be really interesting to see like the whole Winter Soldier that we haven’t seen yet. If you think about it, he had a whole other life sort of as this ulterior ego so to speak. Like when you see the Winter Soldier now he’s sort of like a machine in the movies, but before that, there was actually a real character there, and that was the character that had friendship with Black Widow. But you know, we’ll see what happens.”

Can’t wait for these Bad Boys to arrive!
