Avengers: Endgame – Stan Lee’s Cameo Was Certainly One of the Best

No movie could satisfy you to the fullest as much as Avengers: Endgame would. It was the epic ending of the Infinity Saga we all longed for. In fact, it was much bigger than what we could have imagined or even asked for. Avengers: Endgame surely looks to be the film that will dethrone Avatar, and it most rightly should. What the Russos have done with the film is beyond anything we’ve ever seen. Now let’s move into spoiler territory.

Needless to say, SPOILER ALERT.

Endgame was the epic finale that fit in almost every character that has been important to the Infinity Saga in some way or the other. It found ways to bring back Jane Foster, Alexander Pierce, Loki, Frigga, Ty Simpkins’ Harley Keener, Ned, Brock Rumlow, Agent Sitwell, Howard Stark, Edwin Jarvis and whoever else they could. Even Joe Russo got a cameo. When all these characters got an appearance, then how could the king of cameos, Stan Lee have missed one?

Avengers: Endgame Theory Tony Stark

Stan Lee steps into the picture making one of his best and most bad-ass cameos of all time. This film takes a very unique and innovative spin upon time travel, acknowledging everything that has happened before and rendering all of that useless completely. It could have explained things much clearer, but since there was limited time for everything, they could only spend so much time upon explaining the intricacies of time travel to their fullest.

Avengers: Endgame Theory Tony Stark

So, the movie pretended itself to be smart, and expected the audience to be even smarter. The pace of all the time travel sequences were quick, and only became moderate when it really needed to. One of the fun and moderately paced time travel sequence in the film was the one set in 1970s. Marvel’s number 1 and number 2 went on a separate quest which we all did want to see. Well, we didn’t just get that, but we also got a dashing cameo of Stan Lee right when Tony and Steve hit a SHIELD base of operations.

Before those two enter the SHIELD facility in the 70s, a muscle car speeds down the highway, and in it we see Stan Lee in a 70s, driving along with a beautiful woman in the passenger seat. As he sees Cap and Tony, he screams – “Make love, not war.” Doing this, he moves out of the scene and the two MCU leaders get back to their business.

Now, this was just epic! People did complain about Lee’s Infinity War cameo being not so special, but this one was so unique and quite amazing to be honest. The Russos have confirmed that Avengers: Endgame poses the final cameo of Stan Lee. We’d love to see one in Spider-Man: Far From Home, but if this was the last one, then we totally accept it!

Directed by Joe & Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Danai Gurira, Peter Dinklage, Benedict Wong, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Gwyneth Paltrow, Josh Brolin, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Paul Rudd, Samuel L. Avengers: Endgame Box Office

Here’s the new synopsis of Avengers: Endgame:

“Thanos snapped his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War, and half the life in the universe instantly dissolved. Now a ragged group of surviving warriors, including Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk works to counteract the Mad Titan’s genocidal action.

Since our heroes couldn’t stop Thanos the first time, what makes them think they can win in a rematch? The answer may be in overwhelming power, thanks to Captain Marvel, or in the tiniest spaces between atoms accessible to Ant-Man. Avengers: Endgame will rewrite the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it. When it’s all over, nothing will be the same.”
