However, apparently not all are able to become a franchise in Hollywood and some have to walk alone. But there is one common thing that keeps them going and that is sequels. They can fill the void which was left behind in the last installment. But there are several film sequels that fans can’t wait to see. Check out four of them.
1) Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
As per the response after the release, it seems like the action fantasy film deserves a sequel. The movie brought in several elements carrying an art of being funny, sad and adventurous. However, the film was not able to bring a strong traction but became a fan favorite.
2) Fight Club
The 1999 drama movie, Fight Club, is based on a novel of the same name by author Chuck Palahniuk, one of the rules in the movie was not talk about Fight Club. Well, Brad Pitt might be onboard to work on the next sequel, moreover, the movie would not be as interesting without Edward Norton.
3) The Big Lebowski
The stoner film was released in 1998 and quickly built a huge traction. The film’s portrayal of pop culture is simply undeniable. There is an annual Lebowski Fest where people dress up like their favorite characters and join the festival. It would be amazing to see a new story following it.
4) The Fifth Element
Despite being one of the divisive movies, the 1997 science fiction film was no doubt a popular and an influential movie. According to several reports, there were rumors of a sequel named Mr. Shadow. However, it has not been confirmed whether it is going ti be the proper sequel to the film. But the director Luc Besson might be planning to bring a movie to the same genre.
