Karakattakaran Mp3 Songs Download — Karakattakaran is a 1989 Tamil romantic comedy movie which was written & directed by Gangai Amaran & was produced by Karumari Kandasamy & J. Durai. The movie stars Ramarajan, debutant Kanaka in the leading roles while Goundamani, Santhana Bharathi, Senthil, Ganthimathi, Chandrasekhar and Kovai Sarala have played the supporting roles.
The story of the movie revolves around a male Karakattam dancer who falls in love with a female Karakattam dancer who reciprocates his feelings, but unfortunately, the circumstances are such and their nature is egoistic so it prevents them from confessing their love for one another. How they overcome this trait forms the rest of the story.
The soundtracks of the movie were composed by Ilaiyaraaja & all the songs were well-received and in particular, the song “Maanguyilae Poonguyile” became a classic. The movie got released on 16 June 1989 & became a mega-blockbuster & completed a 425-day run at the box office which makes it one of the movies that were up for such a long period of time. It was also Goundamani´s & Senthil´s 100th movie as an amalgamation. Goundamani and Senthil´s banana comedy was well known among the people & is still known today.

The Plot Of The Movie
Muthaiya, a Karakattamdancer performs well and is widely appreciated by the villagers. Kamakshi, another Karakattam dancer also likes Muthaiya’s performance. Kamakshi’s father invites Muthaiya to his home and to his shock, he understands that Muthaiya is his nephew but he does not reveal it to him.
Synopsis
A man is invited to a village carnival to perform. He falls in love with his professional rival. Problems arise when the village big shot begins to show a keen interest in the lady too.
