Disney+ Might Open Doors For Star Wars’ Obi-Wan Kenobi Series

The fan-following of Star Wars is really huge out there and is the reason why even a tiny rumor trembled the whole internet. If we talk about the rumors that set the stage on fire last year, then, it was about the Star Wars spinoff film with a special focus on Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The rumors were so concrete that even reports of potential writers and directors started popping up, after which, people started wondering whether Ewan McGregor would reprise his famous character of Jedi Master or not. But, later on, it was revealed that all the rumors were false. And, here were are again, as there are reports that Disney+ could be the home of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s series.
There is already a lot of excitement for the streaming service of Disney and with reports like this, no wonder, people are waiting for Disney+ so eagerly. According to a new report, Lucasfilm is working on a new series which is going to put the character of Jedi in focus. But, for now, nothing is concrete as usual. Because, on the other side Disney has solid plans of a Rogue Prequel series, with The Mandalorian’s premiere going to happen next year.
The news broke last year when Star Wars News Net confirmed that the series is in production. But, it has been followed and confirmed by Discussing Film recently from their own sources. So, if all these reports are true, then there are very high chances that we will be able to get the announcement of this in the early days of next month. The Mandalorian and Star Wars: The Clone Wars going to be released very soon. There are chances that ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ will get its official trailer and title very soon.
So, now all we can do is just pray that Lucasfilm will announce the incoming of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s series on Disney+ during the upcoming event ‘Star Wars Celebration’ which is going to be held from April 11-15.
