Avengers: Endgame –
The Avengers franchise is an essential part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The first Avengers film made history with creating a cohesive shared universe with multiple protagonists and the resolution of several years of moviemaking. Not only did the first Avengers movie has a lot in it, but it also showcased the story seamlessly. The art was on point and the CGI well made. Production standards on a Marvel-Disney movie have always been high.
But there was an important aspect of the first Avengers movie that made it shine beyond every other one, and this element was the jade giant himself. The Hulk in all of his glory garnered praise for his serious yet hilarious role as the enforcer of the Avengers. His powerful might and his brutish demeanor won hearts all over the globe.
It is also apparent to the fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that Bruce Banner will have a very important role to play, come Avengers: Endgame. It is entirely possible that the Professor Hulk the fans have received is completely true and we may yet see an intelligent Hulk take the front and center in Endgame. But it is also likely (according to the following theory on r/Fantheories) that we might get to see the exact opposite of Professor Hulk vis-a-vis the most powerful version of the HULK, WORLD BREAKER HULK.

The World Breaker has been a trope in the history of Marvel comics. It is the Gladiator story arc in the Hulk comics. It takes place in space and pits the Hulk as the defender of an alien race and ultimately portrays him as its ruler. The World Breaker Hulk story not only tests the good-evil moral compass of the Incredible Hulk but also makes us witness the awesome power of the gamma radiation and the extent of Banner’s anger mutation. The entire premise reaches absurd levels of power with feats like HULK threating an entire planet with his sheer strength.
I for one can advocate the Russos if they ever induct this particular iteration of Bruce Banner into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But this fan theory thinks that this may be accomplished in Avengers: Endgame and the soul stone will be a cornerstone of this story. Everyone who watched Infinity War knows that Thanos has reached unprecedented levels of power on a cosmic scale in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The absurdity of World Breaker Hulk is a real thing and there is a possibility that we might see that play out in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thanos is utterly powerful and we will need something equally powerful to oppose him.
The logical conclusion for the Avengers would be to use time travel (through harvesting the power of the quantum realm) and collect the time remnants of the infinity stones to rival the power of Thanos and his infinity gauntlet. The only problem with that alternative is that it will be very hard for the Avengers to acquire the soul stone. The soul stone is the only infinity stone that requires the seeker to sacrifice the thing that they love the most in the universe.
It has been long speculated by the fans that either Captain America or Tony Stark aka Iron Man will sacrifice himself to acquire the soul stone but the above theory from reddit has a very different take on the entire conundrum.
It is the belief of this user that the Hulk aka Bruce Banner in Professor Hulk form will be the one tasked with retrieving the soul stone and during this endeavor the Professor will sacrifice his own consciousness in favor of the HULK, not only arming the Avengers with the soul stone but also giving them World Breaker Hulk for the final battle against the Mad Titan.
The idea is a curious one and may lead up to a dramatic final battle where the Hulk redeems his defeat at the start of Infinity War. Maybe we will finally see the famous thunderclap of the Hulk that can devastate the strongest of foes or maybe we will witness how powerful Thanos can be one more time. We cannot wait to find out.
