As the release date of the Avengers: Endgame movie draws nearer and nearer, new and exciting updates for the movie keep coming our way! One such official update from Marvel Studios has revealed that the founding members of the Avengers, that is, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, the Hulk, Thor and Hawkeye are coming back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for one final rodeo. The last time they were seen together in a single frame was in The Avengers of 2012. For the diehard fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, who have been following whatever is going on in the superhero movie universe ever since its inception in 2008, this is some huge news. Presenting – Stunning New Avengers Endgame banner reveals reunited Original Avengers team!!!
While the number of superheroes involved in the upcoming fight to save the universe might be more than just six, the poster reveals that the original founding members are coming back for a final stand against the Mad Titan. This may or may not imply a lot of things. Are the founding members trying to sacrifice their lives to protect the universe and defeat Thanos? Or is there an even deeper meaning to this than we could have ever imagined? Are only some of the few iconic members from the six-person team going to die or are they all about to perish in the coming crusade?
After the events of Civil War, the six superheroes grew apart. The Hulk ended up in Sakaar right after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron and Thor was too embroiled in the goings on of Asgard in Thor: Ragnarok to worry about the Superhero Civil War to even care. The other four members took opposing sides in the fight, siding with Tony Stark and Steve Rogers accordingly and creating a massive rift within the Earth’s Mightiest heroes, something the Avengers still have not managed to fill.
But if the good guys intend to win, they would have to set apart their differences this time. It is paramount that they create a strategy that involves every one of the surviving heroes, regardless of ideology and what sides they took in Captain America: Civil War. The coming fight will demand a lot from the superheroes so let us hope they have what it takes to jump this hurdle.
This is the promotional banner that we are talking about:
The founding Avengers team will be supported in the flanks by Rocket Racoon – the sole surviving member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Nebula, War machine, Ant-Man – who has just found his way back out of the Quantum Realm in Avengers: Endgame, and Captain Marvel, the newest entrant to the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero roster. The question that remains to be asked now is – Will Thanos win this fight as well or will the heroes manage to undo the havoc wreaked by the Mad Titan in Avengers: Infinity War? Only time can give us that answer.
The Last Marvel movie to be released under the Disney banner is Captain Marvel. The movie is currently in theatres. The official film synopsis for the movie reads:
Captain Marvel is an extraterrestrial Kree warrior who finds herself caught in the middle of an intergalactic battle between her people and the Skrulls. Living on Earth in 1995, she keeps having recurring memories of another life as U.S. Air Force pilot Carol Danvers. With help from Nick Fury, Captain Marvel tries to uncover the secrets of her past while harnessing her special superpowers to end the war with the evil Skrulls.
Avengers: Endgame is set for release on the 26th of April, 2019. The official film synopsis of the movie has been recently released and it states:
