It is common news now that there are two whistleblowers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that have a hard time keeping their mouths shut. One is Tom Holland – the Friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. The other is Mark Ruffalo – who plays the Incredible Hulk in the Avengers movies. While both are equally guilty when it comes to being party poopers, Mark Ruffalo has consistently managed to take the cake. He does it again and spoils Avengers: Endgame for the fans by revealing one critical detail of Avengers: Endgame almost two years before its actual release date. Presenting – Mark Ruffalo does it again – the Hulk actor had already spoiled Endgame back in 2017!!
In an interview with USA Today, Mark Ruffalo, who was touring the country as part of the promotional campaign for Thor: Ragnarok in 2017 had revealed that the Hulk and Rocket Raccoon become the best of friends in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe! He said and we quote:
“It’s a very funny relationship that the two of them have: First of all, it’s the biggest superhero and the smallest. Just keeping them in a frame together is a feat and hilarious in itself,” Ruffalo told the USA Today.
He goes on to further add:
“All of the universes coming together is just a sight gag within itself.”
After Infinity War, Rocket Raccoon was the last man standing when the Thanos Snap turned the rest of his Guardians of the Galaxy team to dust. He is then seen next in the Avengers Endgame trailer hanging around with the Hulk. Hulk and Rocket are now the best of pals. A fact that was not supposed to have been common news until the Endgame trailer came into the scene. Ruffalo spoiled that too.
On the other end of the Marvel Universe, Iron Man and Nebula are also stranded aboard the Milano, with the latter’s life support systems are failing. They too will form a bond of their own after both the superheroes suffered heavy losses after the battle on Titan. In August 2017, Karen Gillan was also asked about a rumored new “BFF” that her character will be encountering in the future. She had this to say:
“I can’t tell you. I can’t,” she said at the time. “I promise you it’s brilliant and unexpected and just so good.”
Marvel Studios was so secretive regarding the project that not even the main cast was given the entire script for the Endgame movie. Still, Ruffalo found a way to spoil the fun for the fans. Kudos to that guy, he is such an innocent idiot!!
When asked about the critical details of Endgame, Ruffalo has stayed quiet this time (fortunately):
“I don’t even know that they really know exactly,” Ruffalo claimed.
“Some of it is happening while we’re there. It’s pretty amazing. And we’ll shoot some stuff and a few days later come back and reshoot it cause we wanna take it in another direction. It’s a very living organism, even as we approach it being a locked picture, we’re still working on it.”
Avengers: Endgame, the next Avengers flick from Marvel Studios, is set for release on the 26th of April. The official film synopsis of the movie has been recently released and it states:
“After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.”
The last Avengers movie to be released under the MCU banner was Avengers: Infinity War. The official film synopsis for the movie reads:
Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artefacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.
