Avengers: Endgame Toys Banned From Toy Fair New York

Avengers: Endgame is the most secretive project we will ever get. As these movies keep evolving with the growing franchise, they just keep getting more and more secretive. The secrecy with Endgame is enormous as what Marvel did with the title of the movie is the biggest evidence of this. Moreover, the two sets of footage that Marvel has let out don’t reveal anything about the film. They just hint at certain things but nothing more than that.

Unfortunately, as many attempts Marvel is making to keep things hidden, their merchandise leaks have confirmed certain aspects of the plot for the audience. The action figures of the movie, in particular, have given away so many things. For instance, the Quantum Realm suits which are now confirmed as the Advanced Tech suits have also been revealed through Action Figures, and now the Lego sets have told us a whole lot about the battles of the film. Here are the Lego set descriptions that were leaked:

Recently, 3 leaks of these Lego sets made their way online. We saw the insane bike that Captain America is going to get in the film, and to make things better, there is the War Machine Crusher/Warbuster armor. But the biggest detail of all comes from the Super Quinjet as this set, in particular, reveals the fact that Thanos is going to bring the fight to the home of the Avengers. The Chittauri and the Outriders are going to attack the Avengers facility.

With all these things getting revealed through leaks it is not best for the studio to put these toys sets on display right now. And so, the Toy Fair New York 2019 did not go as well as people would have wanted because vendors were prohibited from displaying any of the toys they’ve created for Avengers: Endgame.

The Toy tracking Blog MarvelToyNews.com just revealed the fact that Avengers: Endgame toys weren’t allowed to be displayed on the show floor, especially the LEGO Sets. LEGO has been guilty of revealing the most number of spoilers, so it only seems fair to not display them right now. They have already confirmed plenty of things.

With these toy leaks being so prominent, the Russos did talk about them in his interview with Collider. Here’s what Joe Russo said:

“What’s interesting about toy leaks is that 99 percent of the time they’re not accurate. Because toys are, frankly, tailored to either old concepts or completely different concepts than what’s in the movie. I laugh a lot when those toy leaks show up because I’m like, well, that’s great, because that’s a misdirect [laughs]. Because it has nothing to do with the film.”

We have seen a major display of their lies with the Avengers: Endgame title and so the Russos can’t be trusted with anything. Moreover, Joe Russo mentions here that the toy leaks are not accurate. He didn’t say they were wrong, he only mentioned the inaccuracy of those toys. So, anything is possible and if history is taken as evidence, then we can believe whatever the leaks have shown us till now, especially the LEGO Set leaks.

So let’s see what happens when Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26. Here’s the official synopsis:

“After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.”
