There are some hidden cameos of Stan Lee in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and yes we are thrilled as much as you’re because no one will ever get enough of Stan Lee on the screens because this is the kind of popularity and love Stan Lee enjoys in this world.
Well, we all know that the movie ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ has won the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film and there’s no doubt that the movie surely deserves this because the work they’ve put in the movie is really incredible and also the story and plot of the movie is second to none.
The trio, Peter Ramsey, Phil Lord, and Chris Miller who have made this movie a blockbuster revealed something interesting about the movie in their acceptance speech at the Golden Globes. They revealed that there is not one but several hidden Stan Lee Cameos in the movie.
It has been revealed and noted by Kyle Buchanan on Twitter that directors Peter Ramsey alongside Lord and Miller stated that Lee has more than one cameo in the movie. As we all know that the movie is going to come in Blu-ray and digital very soon and it seems like a big task is in the hands of Marvel fans as they have to spot the cameos of Stan Lee in those versions.
We all have seen his cameo on the big screen in Into the Spider-Verse. In that, it was Miles who thought of being the next protector of the city as he and Spider-Man have already met. Miles thought that now it is his responsibility to save the world and keep the promise he made to Spider-Man that he’ll always be there whenever something bad will happen. So, he decides to buy a mask for himself and goes into a store nearby.
After reaching the store and selecting the mask, we realize that it is none other than Stan Lee who is running that store and seeing him in this vital role (when Miles is about to become the Spider-Man and take the responsibility), we can see the connection the makers wanted to show.
However, Lee says to Miles, “It always fits, eventually” and hands over the mask to him. This moment will surely make you sad as we all know that the man has been the co-creator of Spider-Man and also delivered one of his best messages again that anyone can be a hero.
Also, in the post-credits scene of the movie, Miguel O’Hara, Spider-Man 2099 travels to Earth-67 and gets into a hilarious argument with the J. Jonah Jameson and Spider-Man of that world. We also heard the voice of Stan Lee for the editor of The Daily Bugle, Jonah Jameson as we all know that Lee wanted to play the character of Jameson on the big screen which got fulfilled in this way.
The movie was directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman and features stars like Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Mahershala Ali, Brian Tyree Henry, Hailee Steinfeld, Liev Schreiber, Luna Lauren Velez, Nicolas Cage, Lily Tomlin, Kimiko Glenn, and John Mulaney.
I have to say that I’m pretty excited to see the cameos of Stan Lee because I’m just like you and many others out there, a big fan of Stan Lee and seeing him again is like being able to get close to him again as we all know that he has left the planet for the stars after creating a world for us in which we can be happy.
For now, the movie ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ is running in theaters and if you’ve already seen the movie and want to say something about the movie then you’re most welcome and do tell us in the comments section down below.
