HBO Hires Jessica Jones’ Director for Game of Thrones Prequel And Announces The Cast

Jessica Jones’ director has been hired to direct the Game of Thrones Prequel and the cast of the show has also been announced leaving Game of Thrones fans excited as usual. We all know that the production of Game of Thrones has touched the ending point and all the concentration of the makers at HBO is towards the first spin-off series of the franchise.

On Monday, it announced that the director of the projects like Jessica Jones and The Defenders, S.J. Clarkson which has been hired by the network to direct the first episode of the prequel series and is also going to serve as the Executive Producer of the show.

Talking about the most important aspect of this famous franchise which is its script. The duty of bringing the pilot script of the show is on the shoulders of Jane Goldman and George R.R. Martin, who is the franchise creator. Talking about the stars, previously there were only two whose names being linked to the project, Naomi Watts and Josh Whitehouse but this got a little higher as the cast of the show has been announced by the network.

Well, as we all know that many stars aren’t household names and this is the biggest reason why HBO recruited them. We saw the same strategy with Game of Thrones a couple of years ago as then, no one knew who Emilia Clarke or Kit Harington was before their respective roles in the Game of Thrones series. But, now there will be very few who wouldn’t know who these two are because, after Game of Thrones, the fan-following of these two stars shot up with the speed of light.

Well, the fans of Ackie are going to have their eyes on the star as she is playing a leading role in the last movie of the franchise, Star Wars: Episode IX’ which is going to come this year in theaters.
