The Plot of the Movie
This movie tells the story of Rae (Christina Ricci), who gives in to her raging libido and leaps into a life of wild abandon, after her lover (Justin Timberlake) leaves to serve in the military. Lazarus (Samuel L. Jackson), a struggling bluesman, finds Rae beaten and left for dead and he takes her in and holds her captive, in an effort to help her find a cure for her affliction.

For his role in the film, Jackson spent six or seven hours a day for around half a year, learning how to play the blues guitar for several songs, that he played throughout the film.
