Something new is going to happen at the Oscars this year. The team is planning to get not one but a team of Avengers to host the Oscars before the release of Avengers: Endgame. There are reports that the Academy is trying to bring multiple stars to take part in the ceremony of the upcoming Oscars as the hosts. Yes, you heard it right as the old concept of having one host is getting declined by the Academy.
But, after the Kevin Hart debacle, it has been decided finally that the 91st Oscars are going to be held without an official host and the new concept of rotating cast of stars is going to be applied on this year’s Oscars. Also, there will be many different segments in the ceremony and with this historic change in the proceedings of the ceremony, the fans are getting excited about the ceremony more than ever.
But, the inclusion of Avengers: Endgame stars being part of that rotating cast which is going to host the Oscars is gaining a lot of hype as we all know that the stature of MCU stars is very huge now in the world because of the success the Marvel movies have had in all these years. But, also there are chances that movies like Black Panther, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Avengers: Infinity War will be praying to get awarded in the ceremony.
The ceremony is going to telecast on ABC which we all know that is a part of the expansive media empire of Disney and the agenda in the eyes of Academy is that they want to capitalize on the hype of Avengers: Endgame and also on the high profile of Avengers’ stars which are going to host the ceremony along with other stars.
Well, this time, nothing has been revealed by the Academy as to who all among the Avengers cast are going to make it to the host list but there are reports according to The Hollywood Reporter that they want to bring as many as possible for it’ll work better for the reach of the event.
Well, there aren’t too many surprises in this as we all know that the popularity of Marvel movies is very high in the world which can be explained by a simple fact that Avengers: Infinity War was the highest grossing movie of 2018 and there are chances that the movie Avengers: Endgame is going to break even more records this year.
But, if we talk about the stars who’ll make it to the list are such as Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. because we all know that these two are the guys who’ll set the floor on fire. They share great camaraderie off-screen and there’s not too much to say about Robert Downey Jr.’s hilarious talking style as he is one of the most entertaining speakers in the world. And on the other side, Chris Evans’ charisma is really hard to miss.
Well, everything is going to depend upon the availability of stars according to their schedule but we all want to see as many stars as possible at the ceremony because we all know that they’re going to shoot up the level of Oscars. But, the fans don’t have to wait a lot because the ceremony isn’t too far from now and there are chances that we will have the official names of stars soon in front of us.
But, if there will a shortage of Avengers stars then no wonder, the Academy is going to turn their sights towards the hyped star cast of Star Wars as the last movie of their world-famous franchise Star Wars is going to come this year, Star Wars: Episode IX. Well, in-between all these things, the Marvel fans must be dreaming of having Avengers stars as the host and also of getting some trophies this year.
The Academy Awards is going to be held on Monday, 25 February 2019. Don’t you dare to miss this one because something different is going to happen this time!
